Tan sees us as his asset and as we stand he knows that we are a big fish in a small pond. And if we get promoted with a little transfer fee/budget we will be quids in for the season. We are then back in championship and with the youngsters (performed to get us promoted) he's willing to probably sell these. We all know if you have stock you buy low and sell high. We are currently low stock value so won't sell. So maybe a year or two away. But in the mean time we carry on supporting the boys hopefully get up to championship. And honestly anyone who says I want to lose because of tan f**k off get a grip

I’d agree with this, but he has to keep subsidising his stock as we lose money from his poor decision making. He props us up for 10-15m a year .. and credit to him for doing so, but I can’t see our value increasing by 25-30m being back in the championship. And if we get there, he’ll need to spend anyway to stabilise. Feels false economy to me and we’re likely stuck until he passes .. but we’ll see. Feels very much like he goes “I’ve spent £xm this season, so I’ll add it to my valuation” without any real concept of what it’s really worth to the normal person

Yes I know what your saying mate. But the point I'm trying to make I'd if he gets promotion with young squad who's selling value ofa few will go up. He will probably expect more price on his over inflated ego club to sell

Very weird Glen Williams forgot to put this in his Wales on line and the fact that it was finally admitted that after accepting a offer in the last 2 years, Tan at the last moment turned it all down.

Letting many believing there were No buyers out there.

It all comes out in the end, The Truth.

Time for the South Africans to go public maybe? I’d be pretty pissed off if I was them, tabled a decent bid, and yet it’s not even been acknowledged by Tan and co? If they are genuine they should tell everyone now and publicly humiliate Dalman for denying their existence. I’m not privy to any insider info so would genuinely like to know if there is a serious offer or if it’s just piss and wind….. :bluebird:

Annis I put out a reason why tan wont sell in a thread looking at yesterday's game he like dalman believe we'll get promoted with what potentially will be the most valuable squad he's had.... if I was a buyer I would pay dalman 40m and tans 80m "quoted by bbc" otherwise can't see Tan going for at least 2 seasons if not longer

I have been watching Gary Otto since he came to Sutton, I don't trust the guy.

What makes you think he has transferred his shares in Sutton ? He has been buying more cheap and now has 50% + in the club.

If there was any truth in the South African bid they would have gone public today but they haven’t

Basics Dalman has completely denied reports of himself meeting the South Africans and the EFL and Welsh Fa confirming there has been no contact whatsoever

Looks like everyone on here has been led up the garden path and fed bullshit and lies. Be interested to hear the supposedly ITK people have to say to defend themselves and their sources

And why as annis said would 3 seperately consortiums bid for club at same time which is what happened! We know Bale bid and 2 others Inc Gary otto who is not now owner of Sutton as been explained. .. so you believe dalman if want but you'll be in a minority

So you believe Dalman after All the Bullshit he has said year after year.

You’re thicker and more clueless than I thought.

REALLY?

You never know they could still be in there or could come out public.

Funny Dalman admitted that they a very interesting and good offer they negotiated with, but refused to to name the party.

Yeah, I don't know where that info came from about Otto dumping Sutton shares.

He hasn't got rid of any Sutton shares, in fact his percentage ownership has gone up.

It was another major shareholder, MBUZZSPORT that sold off their shares they are owned by Nawaf Al Shammari.

You are forgetting otto is a front man so won't be owner of ccfc
Whoever the real money men are will be major shareholders you are allowed to have interests in two clubs but can only have certain amount in 2nd club to avoid conflict of interest ... anyway time will tell if its a relevant fact in ccfc takeover if it happens.

Look at Companies house records

"Annis, it's the company Gary Otto owns that holds the shares in Sutton United—not Otto personally. According to Companies House, his company remains the majority shareholder. It was an associate of his who sold their shares, which resulted in Otto's company now holding between 50% and 75%, making it the largest shareholder."

The most recent filings with Companies House show that Gary Otto is still listed as a director of Sutton United, and there’s no record of him selling his shares.

What has changed is that Mbuzzsport (linked to Nawaf Al-Shammari) officially ceased being a person with significant control on 30 May 2025. At the same time, ACV Sports Ventures LLC (which is controlled by Otto) had its details updated — but not removed.

So Otto’s company (ACV Sports Ventures) still appears to be the majority stakeholder
Otto himself is still a director
No change of share ownership is recorded
This is all confirmed in:
The Confirmation Statement (CS01) filed on 5 March 2025
The PSC notifications (PSC07/PSC05) filed on 28 June 2025

From the moment it was first mentioned that Gary Otto was fronting the consortium, I tried to find out where his money was coming from and what his net worth was—but I couldn’t find any information at all.
I get the impression that the Sutton fan who posted earlier in this thread doesn’t trust Gary Otto, possibly because Sutton FC’s ownership rules state that no individual should hold more than 25% of the shares. When Mbuzzsport—owned by Nawaf Al-Shammari—bought their stake, the combined shareholding exceeded 50%. It now appears that Mbuzzsport (i.e. Al-Shammari) has sold their shares, which has made Otto’s company the majority shareholder.

Otto is reportedly telling the board that he became the majority shareholder by default, but a number of fans don’t buy that explanation.

At the time, I couldn’t help wondering whether the plan all along was for Mbuzzsport (Al-Shammari) to become owner of Cardiff City, while Gary Otto took control of Sutton United.

All in Companies House

My first post on here, so hi all.

I have been watching Gary Otto since he came to Sutton, I don't trust the guy.

What makes you think he has transferred his shares in Sutton ? He has been buying more cheap and now has 50% + in the club.

I will be totally honest, I never even knew much about his shares in Sutton United, some aid in here he had loads some said he had got rid.
Until I was told actually by some on here he had got rid I did not care as he was still allowed to be involved with City and that’s what mattered.

What was also said at the meeting yesterday was Dalman finally admitted they had a serious offer and had got involved with it, but when asked by two people including Paul Abbandonato, who was this group ?

Dalman said he was not permitted to say lol

So has dalman put a stop to the takeover by advising tan not to sell?

That I honestly don’t know Sam.

But Dalman failed with his Consortium to raise enough money.
