Fingers crossed Tan accepts I wont hold my breath though.

Totally agree
I think somebody has been on the happy stuff and is wishful thinking.
Absolutely bollox they would be discussing colour of seats and badge which cannot be changed this season even if it were true. These rumours are quickly without substance destabilising our manager and start to our season.

Annis, do you have a rough timeline?

Actually you can change a clubs badge at anytime during the season as long as the club can prove the majority of its supporters would back the change it was a law brought in at the start of the 2022/23 season

I think there is definitely some substance to the rumours but how much of this is true is definitely questionable

It’s more likely that any potential new owners would have quickly been made aware changing the badge and red seats would be beneficial and would quickly get the fans onside (Bale would definitely be aware of this it’s common knowledge)

Hopefully the next week will see something definite happening we shall see

Annis seems to be of the opinion they gave been listening and monitoring things at the city i think there’s a post running on this topic.

Vincent Tan has not said yes or has he said no.

They are coming back to CCS this coming week.

And hoping to meet Tan in person in London.

Big time in to football.

They are a fair way down the line. They have been respectful and kept it out of the press and really want to get the deal done.

Tan dependent now. I believe they are back in Cardiff this week and Steve Borley has been excellent in helping all parties.

I KNOW THIS:

They have watched and listened for months.

All Red Seats they intend to Remove.

They intend to bring Our Badge Back.

A massive clear out of current personnel.

how true is all this Annis? I dont want to go through the bale saga again getting excited then shot down weeks later :bluebird:

I'm pretty sure the rule was brought in due to things like our rebrand hulls potential name change etc, here's the article that explains it a bit better

Fair play to you :bluebird:

Garry Otto is the one at Sutton, but he’s the main front man for a Billionaire group.

Fantastic news if it happens but wouldn’t there be a massive conflict of interest if he owns Sutton?

Look at Palace and Lyon.

We can be Sutton’s feeder club!

You know this will win me over Annis. Get rid of all things Malaysia and then look at Wayne Nash.

Positive news though I still have a bad feeling that either this will come to nothing or Tan will walk from the deals!

Need official for my nervous system!

Also there are 3 main shareholders so he's not main one so maybe doesn't fall within criteria for dual ownership! Bit if he's only front man and family worth €6b so other members in consortium are billionaires how much we talking about!!!

They’ (whoever ‘They’ are, might not discuss it as part of the negotiations, but they might say it (or let it be known) as a ‘statement of intent’ should they purchase the club

That would certainly appease our supporters, who need to be onside going forward

It’s not a ‘done deal’ yet, but as someone else said, you’re constantly being very negative about what could soon be an historic event in our club’s history!

Not Negative chris maybe realistic.
Let's hope for a positive outcome hey !
We can all have a SMILE together then ☺️

Thanks Chris,

He’s out to turn everything Negative I ever say.

Ignore him now.

And yes they have discussed it, but not with Tan etc with the person I know who introduced them to CCFC.

Just ignore his Negativity

So that will of course depend on what you mean to be the 'true' badge.

For me, the only true badge is the single bluebird. I understand for different generations it may be a different 'truth'.

And just for completeness, the yellow was a partial rebrand in the 1970s, which I never liked ;)
