No it won’t

Not sure about 'through the roof' but there's sure to be an increase along with a bit of a feel good factor and, if (and it's a big if) it's on it's way to being done after a few weeks there'll be an upsurge in season ticket sales.
PS. I don't think we'll be losing the red seats any time in the near future.

If we get on a decent roll crowds will improve. That would be the case whether Tan is running us or one of these groups.

Sorry to be pessimistic but I'll believe all this if and when it happens. Which I really hope it does.
Not going to get carried away yet

Don’t think you realise how many people will return once Tan leaves. There’s many people out there that said they won’t go down until Tan is gone. I’m one of them.

You have to wonder how many just use it as an excuse to not go or have now got out of the habit of going.

I don’t know why people would use it as an excuse. For me, it doesn’t feel like my club anymore. It needs a bit of heart and soul injected back into it and that can only be done under a new regime.

It’s not thousands. It’s not enough to fill the stadium from the crowds of 15k we are likely to get at the start of the season.

This. About 50 gave in their season tickets when we went to Red.

They stayed Cardiff fans and went while we were winning the championship under Malky, then stayed in the premier league season. They then stopped going when we were under Slade and selling players galore. When Warnock took us back up the top then started again and stayed for the premier league season. Then bit by bit they have stopped going as each season has gone badly.

They will be back if we start winning and will stay away if we don’t.

The figures to back this up are the attendance figures over the time Tan has been our owner. When we were winning / premier league we were selling out.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think we will be close to sellout games because of a change in owner. But I do think maybe 2/3k will come back. Just an opinion. You can’t compare the premier league though, the stadium wasn’t filled with proper Cardiff fans.

Probably right but the game v Reading where we secured promotion was and that was a sellout.

It’s like when Rick Wright had us winning and Sam too. Suddenly crowds were a lot higher then when we were mid table Championship we had 11k crowds.

It’s not just us that’s similar for all clubs but we have a very big catchment area which catches fire when we are successful.

I do think our core is higher now though and is at about 15k

Just couldnt see why Johann Rupert would get involved specifically with us.

As we are all admitting to going down rabbit holes looking for potential owners.....

What about Donald Gordon's sons? Donald was a South African Businessman and not sure what links he has to Wales but has gave 10 million so that we could build the Millenium Centre down the bay. The auditorium has his name.

He died in 2019 but has three kids!

I think a takeover would initially at least see our attendances shoot up particularly if it was the Bale led group.
That would be fantastic to get some real atmosphere and positivity around the place (God it's been so long since there's been some positivity down there).
If we can then dispose of 'Mr sour grapes' Nash we can get some real atmosphere going down there.
Fingers crossed our beloved Bluebirds will soon be flying high where they deserve to be.
Here's hoping :occasion5:
