You may well be right. I'd take Danny Ward, regular football will only improve him.

Unless Bellemy has told him that he is not in his plans, which I doubt as he is still the captain and this is a young squad, I just can't see Rambo giving up on that dream of playing in the WC again. You can be a manager for the rest of your life, you have to get through your rehab and play after Christmas, hopefully running into some form.


Player, manager and national captain seem to be a lot of work

I can see him being a player/assistant manager, learning the ropes from an older manager, understanding he will take over.

It seems like its happening unfortunately

Won't lie, Aaron Ramsey wouldn't have been my choice for manager.

But if and when it happens, I just hope the whole fanbase will support him - which I'm sure they will.
