Birmingham had a manager last year who was inexperienced and hadn’t even played professional football and he did alright.
They also had provably the biggest budget ever in that division and a giant squad of quality they were .bless ahead of anyone else is tan going to pump in 20 million this season.?

Ah. So the goal posts have moved now that’s the point has been proved wrong. All I’ve heard was it’s just inexperience but it’s actually not that it’s the squad fault now and budget. That hasn’t been mention before. Last season 87.5% of league 1 managers didn’t achieve the goal of promotion for their club, the numbers higher if you include the number of managers changed. So the odds for success are very low from the get go.
The most inexperienced manager in the football league won the division at Birmingham. Experience doesn’t mean success.
Rambo is by far the best choice for us in my opinion.

'By far'?
What would he bring to the job that others, with much more experience, wouldn't?

Why is there this obsession with experience ?
Bulut and McCarthy had experience at a much higher level and look what happened there !
The Jacks have frequently appointed inexperienced managers and, to be fair, most of them worked out.
Many of us are gutted that we didn’t appoint Bellamy, he had no managerial experience but doing a great job for Wales.
If we don’t take the opportunity to appoint Ramsey I just hope we don’t have similar regrets further down the line.
For me Ramsey is definitely worth a gamble, he’s intelligent, has good connections and will know how he wants to play. I just don’t understand why people have such strong reservations ??

They are now trying to do it on the cheap cheap.
It’s over and done with Nathan Jones as Tan wanted to pay the compensation over 5 yrs to Charlton and we all know how that works if ended another court case

Neither did Pep Guardiola when he was appointed manager of the Barcelona B team. he got them promoted in his first season. He was made manager of the Barcelona first team the following season. Others have been made managers without any experience and also done well, so we should not let past mistakes by our board affect the chances of other applicants.
Is Ramsey the best of the people who have been mentioned? I think so, but let's be honest, the standard of applicants has been poor, to say the least, even for League One level

Beside this people are not exactly confident with any of the other names mentioned and they're experienced? So as I've said it's not the lack of experience that's the problem it's who helps him that could be problem.

I would, and I would also be the same about the Irishman Jonny Evans now that he has retired. If he wanted to be a manager, it is the potential in a player that counts, not his nationality

True to a point however Jones has got experience as a manger and just taken Charlton put of league 1
Agreed Pete

Same could be said about Nathan Jones.
