The pitch is very poor for a Championship ground and may well have an effect as the game goes on...

Kaba does well to earn a foul and Cardiff reset again.

Good hold-up work from Etete and McGuinness then finds O'Dowda. He looks for Kaba but the cross is overhit. Romeo does excellently to win a foul on the far side, though.

Corner kick to Brum after good cover from O'Dowda and it's beaten away well. The ball is then sent back out and a well gained free kick for Kaba sees the pressure taken off a little

It's not been pretty, but at least we're competing much better.

Decent 1st half for Cardiff, a bit scrappy in places but you can see where Sabri has worked with them, there’s a bit more confidence and belief about the squad tonight. Just need a goal or 2 for us now… no pressure

Good effort first half.
Particularly from Etete who has held the ball up well and ‘won’ a lot of free kicks. At least we have an out ball and it allows others to move up in support. That was something that was totally missing with Robinson up there. We just seem to lack pace…. Cant understand why Davies isnt in the squad.
