Plus 8 promotions, how can anyone doubt his credentials
CARDIFF CITY NEED HIM NOW TO SAVE US
Till the end of the season Warnock & Sol Bamba
But do you agree that Neil Warnock got involved in some very questionable activities when he was manager here, and at previous clubs?
Is Sol Bamba still a client of Willie McKay`s son (he was when he signed for us)?
I agree that Tan & Dalman over saw everything and they had to sign it all of.
We had abd gave this famous CCFC Committee do we not who over see everything.
Keith, your not stupid the buck stops at the top and Tan and Dalman have to accept results.
But you haven`t answered either question. What are your opinions on the questions I asked?
I agree entirely that the board of directors and owner are culpable in allowing Neil Warnock to get away with certain things which if the directors had the "balls" to stand up to the owner wouldn`t have happened like the very dodgy structure of the deal he negotiated with his friend Willie McKay. They should also have questioned and refused to sign off some of the transfer deals he did for the financial benefit of his son. Accusations of taking money from players to select them are a different matter.
So the board and owner are at fault themselves but it was Neil Warnock who instigated and pushed for these things. Because of that I personally wouldn`t want him back anywhere near our club.
Of course Warnock found the player and wanted him and negotiated with the backing of The Regime / The Committee who had the final say.
1. Did NW really find the player or was the deal put to him by his friend Willie McKay as one that would be lucrative all round (apart from for Cardiff City FC)
2. Vincent Tan , as the sole decision maker in all major matters, was very much at fault for allowing it to happen when, yet again , his lack of football knowledge and lack of willingness to take advice from anyone with such knowledge alowed the deal to take place
3. The CCFC CEO and Chair have both said publicly that they didn`t want the deal to happen but either couldn`t or wouldn`t stand up to Vincent Tan to prevent it from happening so they are also at fault. The only person with a final say was (and still is) Vincent Tan , as is the case in all the other businesses he owns.
You still haven`t answered the question of whether or not you believe that NW has been involved in a large number of "questionable" deals at CCFC and previously or the question of whether you were aware of Sol Bamba`s connection with the McKay family.
I would like that to be clarified also, because a lot of accusations have been made against Warnock and would like to know whether they are true or just rumours.

A lot of assumption due to his 'friendship' with the McKay family and his own son being an Agent

A lot of assumption due to his 'friendship' with the McKay family and his own son being an Agent
I did a post listing out verifiable facts about Neil Warnock activities but it disappeared , so a summary below
Warnock was first investigated by the football authorities when he was manager at QPR and they signed Joey Barton from Newcastle. The agent involved was Willie McKay.
On at least three subsequent occasions the EFL was worried about transactions taking place between Neil Warnock as a manager and football agencies employing his son James - at Sheffield United, Crystal Palace and here at CCFC. No further action was taken as the legal wording of the relevant regulations made deciding if a breach had taken place and could be penalised was unclear.
At least two former footballers (Rowan Vine ex QPR and a C Palace player whose name escapes me at the moment) made public accusations that NW had demanded money from them in exchange for picking them in the team thereby earning appearance money.
As I say all of the above can easily be checked online with official records as being facts not rumour.

All of them rumours, If there was any truth whatsoever in these rumours the the EFL would have done something about it
None of the following are rumours but facts that can be readily checked with a little bit of online research
1. Neil Warnock was the manager at QPR when they signed Joey Barton from Newcastle in a transfer certain aspects of which were investigated by the authorities at the time. The agent involved was Willie McKay.
2. The EFL investigated transfers involving Neil Warnock as club manager and football agents employing his son James on at least three occasions - Crystal Palace, Sheffield United and Cardiff City. No charges or disciplinary action was taken despite their concerns as the wording of the relevant EFL Regulations was deemed to have not been breached in strict legal terms.
3. Both Rowan Vine (ex QPR) and a former Crystal Palace player whose name escapes me at the moment have made public statements saying that Neil Warnock asked them to make a payment to him in exchange for them being selected to play in his teams and thereby qualify for appearance money.
4. Sol Bamba`s agent when he signed for us was Mark McKay,( son of Willie McKay) who was also the licenced intermediary involved with his father in the Emiliano Sala transfer deal. Nothing wrong with the Sol transfer per se but just illustrates that Neil Warnock retained a working relationship with the McKay family over a considerable period of time.

Anyone who knows me or who has read my previous posts will know I'm not Warnock's biggest supporter due to his alleged financial misdealings. I have always said that I have a strong belief he was involved in dodgy deals, although I repeat the allegations against him are only alleged and there is little evidence in the public domain.
However, there is no question he is the best man for the job. I highly doubt anyone else (who would work for Tan) would be able to keep us up. Whitehead is no better than Hudson.
We simply cannot afford relegation from a financial point of view, it would ruin us and possibly even extinct us.
They need to bring in Warnock until May and over that time find a suitable long term option.
But I honestly have no faith in Tan and his mates to be that sensible.
