We’re you supporting City before Sam’s days?
If so tell Exactly how we were doing then, crowds, league, ground , squad value , Accademy ,debt etc etc?
How come no one was interested in us back then?

So please tell Me where we were in the league and what league when Sam left ? Crowds ? Stadium, future plans? Debt, squad value etc?
Was our profile bigger? Did you welcome Sam and did you ever sing his name etc?

Did you enjoy the promotions?
Did we ever get relegated under Sam?

Sam made mistakes, he accepts and now has the money to take us forward and was virtually at every game home and away including under 21’s , under 12’s etc, does that not show that he actually cared for our club.

Sam was never ever going to put us under, that I know for a fact, not media bullshit.

Let me see started 1970 so seen the lot including 40 fans at blackburn southend ect .... did I enjoy promotions mmm to ill so missed 1st one 2nd one was an experience most fans wanted I enjoyed the games like most..... did I sing for sam like fck I did nor did I for any of the owners we've had since 1970? If he did tan wouldn't be here now! I dont hate tan dont hate sh I just dont want him near the club again tan as made club a circus so did sh all be it in different way... Well, i can tell you now he was and I attended with him myself and many many fans also seen him,Sam was obsessed wiyth our youth and the proof was there with how many came through.
I even went to places like Colchester with Sam to watch our youth.

Sam would attend the all the Saturday youth games before City's main home game on Saturdays.
Everyone at the club saw him and many many fans also.

So i have to say you really are talking Bollocks making out its a lie, because i saw it myself on many occasions and others did.

From what I can find online, Sam was worth anywhere between $40-100 million in 2003.

There is only one recent article I can find on his current net worth, which states around $8 million.

I'm not sure how reliable either of these articles is. However, if these estimates are correct, he has lost anywhere from $30-90 million in 20 years and now suddenly has the funds to take us forward.

Is anybody able to shed a reliable light on his net worth?

If he ran out of money last time, where has this new wealth come from? Or is it part of a consortium? Or is there little to no truth in these stories?

As you say annis tan cannot keep funding club making losses year on year at some point he'll have to sell... because we are not going to get promoted with present financial tactics... just the opposite.

Re: If Sam came back hopefully he gets fair treatment

In response to an earlier post I can say hand on heart Sam used to go to most academy games. I often went to Treforest on a Saturday and Sunday and often saw both Sam and his wife Nada there. Occasionally Bobby Gould and Lennie Lawrence.

It is because of his love of the WHOLE CLUB and not just the first team that's why I would have him back tomorrow.

As to whether Sam has the money. I believe he does. He has after all made two increased bids as others have pointed out

I do want to say something about VT. In the past few years we have had at least 3 interested parties that I know of. And Ive heard that one of those parties was quoted £250m to buy the club

Let me put it another way. Potential buyers were looking to invest in us and planning Premier league football. They said no when confronted with such a ridiculous price.

I don't know whether others have heard similar but this to me suggests VT may not put us supporters first.

Has Sam won the lottery by any chance?

Perhaps he put that £500k he demanded at the last minute before signing the club over on red at the casino over the road from the ground.

No, but if you followed Sam's fortunes (very apt word here) in any sense, you would know that his return to the Middle East has reaped its rewards and some more

Have him back? As an owner and a character, I 100% would

Equally, I'm not one to condemn Vincent Tan's tenure. But if, as I now believe, he has tired of us (maybe as ungrateful fans than the club itself?) then he should sell and allow the club to go in a different direction; whether that be to Sam or another new owner

Tans time is up and he knows it but is he stubborn enough not to sell to sh even if that offer met his evaluation of club? My opinions on sh is well known but at end day we need someone to change the financial landscape at the club because it's only going to end up one way and it's not promotion...... if it's going to be sh so be it it's got to be better than dying by a thousand cuts.

What will be will be if Sam comes back then the fans against Sam will just have to give him a chance and wait and see or if it’s someone else the same fans will have to give them a chance and wait and see.

But it’s time Tan left as we will only head one way as that’s down the way we are currently being run.
