You are either being naive or biased if you really think that the club was wrong to take, and continue, this case

Let’s see how the 3rd and final case decides, as I said we’ve had two cases and both say Sala was our player which he was, now for yet another costly appeal by Tan.

Not naive facts , Sala was our player.

Are FIFA & Welsh FA Naive as well?

Maybe you and Tan are the hypocrites.
Sad really, very.
I’m actually appalled and sickened.

let’s leave it there.

We can leave it there but just to be absolutely clear , I’m not disputing Sala was our player. I believe he was just like you.

What we disagree on is whether it was necessary to pursue this through the courts. I believe that is a “yes” without question to lay the ground for further civil cases.

The whole truth won’t come out until years/cases ahead but I’m firmly of the belief that the club will, eventually, recoup a significant amount of their outlay.

You are disputing Sala was a Cardiff City player  as that is what this exact case is about, 100%.

Again, once more, you are not reading what I am saying.

This is all about gathering more information and also setting the scene for future cases.

On it’s own this case is about ownership but there’s a whole lot more that has come out that is allowing the legal team to add to the evidence for the next cases.

This is such a complicated matter that you cannot take this case in isolation.

You’re not an uneducated man and deep down you know all of this.

Exactly right and if the owner wants to pursue this and all the far reaching implications that are involved then so he should.

Nobody on this board knows a fraction of what’s going on in this complicated case.

In my mind we should have been covered by insurance for such a liability, if the transfer was complete it should have been covered by our insurance and if not by the other team's :old:

I agree. Two things that are being overlooked by a lot of people...

1. Legal proceedings allow for discovery of important aspects of what happened which will be the foundation for any further law suits the club may pursue.

2. I would imagine that at that level of cost the insurance would be reliant on re-insurance (insurers that insure insurers) and the club have to be seen to go through every available channel to defend their position if they are not to show an admission of guilt which could damage potential insurance payout.

There is more to the club following these actions than just a blind refusal to pay.
