Yes Annis, one from 5 we are interested in, maybe two

Confirmation from WBA boss Steve Bruce. On Robinson: “It looks as if he's on his way, Cardiff I think is the one that's agreed the fee and were willing to
Pay it.”
“We always knew we had to balance the books, I wish him the best of luck if that happens.”
“It hasn't gone so well of late for Robbo these past few weeks, but I wish him the best of luck - he's a really smashing lad and a great pro.”

Has anyone noticed the similarities between him and Hugill.
They both played 120 odd games for Preston and both scored 30 goals for them that is 1 goal every 4 games.
Not sure if that makes Robinson with a 1.5 million transfer fee and a very hefty salary worth the money. But there is absolutely no question that either or both are better than what we have got already seeing as neither Watters or Harris would get double figures in goals scored ever in the championship.
An act of desperation maybe seeing as he has scored I think it is 3 goals in 28 games for West Brom and he is a bit injury prone but I guess beggars can’t be choosers.

He played 43 games for WBA last season and this season is not in bruce's plans

Makes a nice change to be picking up West Brom’s players rather than Bristol city!!

Now BBC:
Cardiff City are set to sign Callum Robinson from West Bromwich Albion for a fee believed to be in the region of £1.5m.

Why are people saying he’s injury prone when he played 43 games last season ?
Am I missing something ? Genuine question.

It can’t all be positive mate. There needs to be something that’s wrong with him

I agree. Even if we couldn’t agree club terms I’m sure WBA wouldn’t be stating that he’s staying out - particularly as they’ve just signed a striker.

Am glad Tan is finally feeling the pressure. Welcome, but he should have done this earlier where we would have had a larger pool to choose from.
Firstly that’s a NO.
Your the one who’s feeling the pressure. MONEY was available from the start on the right player.
It’s coming to the end of the window and there’s lots of movement from clubs on their players and deals can be made.
I’m surprised as a so called football man you didn’t understand that but I suppose your so busy running the regime down you miss the important bits.
Take notice and focus on the issues and you won’t miss what’s directly in front of you! Suppose I’m hoping on that one.

Sad really that on a day they sell their top man, they’re spreading fake news about one of our targets.

A transfer fee of £1.5m sounds about right for an experienced striker? What Bruce said seems to suggest he was only for sale not a freebie..
Thu Sep 01, 2022 2:16 pm
There is a video doing the rounds - he is at ccs
Thu Sep 01, 2022 2:41 pm
Clearer photo and looks like him. All we need now is Scott Johnson to tweet 'its happening' and it will be jinxed.
