Cheers Carl

Im getting a sneaky feeling about these loan signings now...

Do City get to see their full medical histories?

Do they give them medicals?

Not great at the moment is it!!

Cant blame old misery guts for any of it, but I cant help but wonder if part
of the reason they're letting these fellers go out on loan is cos of injury concerns?

Some poster the other day called me retarded for likening this to the Fowler scenario.

Yeah right - I'm retarded :x

This has all the makings of another embarassing debacle from the manager.

swansea get a quality player for 500k, yet we give one away for less than that to a rival club, and sign someone who is not fit, another who is also not fit (Koumas), others who have injury problems (Oli & Drinkwater) and are left with a squad less strong that arguably the one which get us to the play off final.

Never mind we have Keogh instead of Feeney ;)

This is the stupidest bitterest post I've seen on here for some time!!

"Embarassing debacle"?????

I doubt there is a manager in the whole Football League (including the Premier league including Ferguson
and Ancellotti) who would have turned down the Bellamy deal. I doubt there are many managers in Europe
Who would have turned their noses up at Craig Bellamy for 20k? a week

How you can say our squad is weaker than the one that got us to the play-off finals is beyond me.

I think you are a Jack

NOTHING like the Fowler situation, mate. Craig WOULD NOT have come here IF he didn't think he was ok and could do the job. Would be daft even by your standards

Good point about Keogh, mind. At least we now have a headless chicken that can't score goals who just MIGHT improve under the influence of Dave Jones and the rest of the Monkees!!

Sorry, you gotta be a certain age to understand that one!!

It'll be alright in the long run.

I'd take scrappy wins in the next 2 games, point at Barnsley, then Drinkwater and Chops start to come back. Then there's the international break which gives people who've been carrying knocks recently, like Olofinjana and Bothroyd, time to recover. By the time we play Bristol we should be OK, seeing as Drinkwater and Chops are targeting that game as a return to action. Then we'll have 4 of the big 5 up and running (Bothroyd, Drinkwater, Olofinjana and Chops).

Only problem is that Bellers is almost certainly going to want to play for Wales. 2 games in 4 days doesn't sound fantastic.

I hope DJ steps in and tells him to take it easy !

The truth is Craig was not fit enough to make his 'dream debut' for us against Doncaster and he should never have played for Wales either but now it is all about getting him fit and making sure he is right to make an impact throughout the season for Cardiff City, he did not have a pre season and is playing catch up but the club do not want to have a player who is breaking down continuously because he has not had the correct rest.

I may be wrong but I seem to recall that Bellamy rarely trained in the same manner as the main squad at man city as this was how he kept the stress down on a known knee problem. I believe that was part of the problem between him and mancini as mancini did not agree with this approach. It may therefore not be as negative a sign as it initially appears. I do feel however that he cannot carry on an international and club career as his body simply can't take it. I hope the club can encourage him to this view and time for the head to rule the heart in that regard.

Cheers Carl for the update. TBH I'm more concerned about Oli making the Millwall/C Palace games than I am about Bellamy.

I think you'll find the update was brought forward to Wednesday night (i.e. THIS post) and an informative one it was too....

There's usually something in the offing later today (Friday) regarding team news etc....
