I find this totally embarrassing, we have average 18000 fans all season even in the darkness with MM in charge, yet we are getting 27000+ for a game against the jacks.

Where have you been all season?
Where were you when the club really needed you?

This just shows that our fans are obsessed with Swansea and don't care when we play Peterborough or Barnsley.

There’s a large number of fans that are attracted to a game by the opposition / derby at almost all clubs
Have a look at for example Birmingham crowds and see how the crowd goes up a few K when they play WBA.

Find me any club this doesn’t happen to. Barcelona get ~70k for some games then sell out 90k+ when Real Madrid come to down. Compare demand for a Man U 3rd round FA Cup match against Swindon with a PL game against Liverpool.
No team gets promoted and starts seeing smaller attendances. Bigger game = bigger crowd.

Block 517 ninian upper now on sale, looks like rest of the upper is now sold out.
517 is above the away supporters section :-)
i wonder if they will reduce the segregation in the main lower ninian, otherwise there is not going to be many walk up seats available on saturday.

How can you turn this into a negative!?

Good atmosphere and a good performance will mean some of these new/returning fans will stay with us.

Whether a fan is new, old or just lapsed they’re all just as valuable to to us.

I’m surprised they have opened this block as it’s right above the away fans . Should add to the atmosphere though

Well said. People moan about us getting small* crowds and then moan when too many people turn up

*For the record I think we get good crowds considering our size.

Unless the restrictions are eased, ie block 117 currently not being sold, in my opinion there will be no tickets left by the end of today.

A quick count up on the ticketing website shows only ~400 remaining including the posh seats in the grandstand. About ~150 regular seats left. If they can the club definitely should open 117 for walk up sales :ayatollah:

I’m guessing we’re at about 28k sold. In total it depends if any more go on sale, but I reckon it’ll be just shy of 29k.

Anyone not saying that’s an excellent crowd needs to look back at the Durban & Kumar years.
