£800K is why Jones is loyal to us. He does not give a shit about the fans so why should we give a shit about him?

Jones has had more money to spend on players than most managers in this division.

yeah but we're only one loss away from 13th now. 13TH!!!!

We've squandered the good start, basically.

Or a draw from second which is the automatic position, is your glass always half empty :?:

Unfortunately the loss is looking more likely at the moment, that's my point.

Ultimately I'm not disagreeing with you on this Lord Carl. I agree that the injuries have killed us but I'm just pissed that the squad couldn't cope, which I hoped it would have done.

I agree with The Yank, DJ has to get the Best out of his squad, PLAN B ?

I Agree!! Tell me who is a better manager out there at the moment who is available ? we cant go on a whitch hunt at DJ. Keep the faith and judge us at Crimbo. Lets get our players fit.

Add Peterborough away to that we were shocking, Ive named 5 managers before.

Name them again please Annis!! I remember one you mentioned that was Darren Ferguson, but look at his record its abysmal Chief. Could make an interesting debate :P

well, we could get someone in who could do a job with the players we have for a fraction for his wage

Suggestions please Chief then we can debate each one :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Sadly I am Totally in agreement with you Ian.

Annis i am not DJs biggest fan he has many faults and many pros. We have to give him this season to see what he can acheave considering for the first time he has been totally backed in his transfer targets. We need to back him completely for this term but it isn't going to help if we're on his back already.
Yesterday the fault lies totally with the players they should be the target, these are the players who are trying to claim the shirt but now once the new boys return the only way certain players will get back is if injuries return.
Since Gypes came to our club i have rated him but recently he has been total pants in the Rae department and DJ in my opinion should put Darcy back there. But then again i would put Darcy at right back and midfield as well.
If DJ fails this term with what he got then i will join your DJ out club, but for now I'm asking please give him your backing to the end of the season like you have said you would do. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

There are currently 2 managers available who have a proven track record of getting teams out of this division Alan Curbishley and Alan Pardew. We should all remember that DJ has no track record for getting teams out of this division by automatic promotion, never done it, he has via the playoffs with Wolves but that was with a team who at one time looked like they would be champions before they fell apart. Sound familar to anyone?

Look when we get our injured players back we should comfortably maintain our top 6 position, if we remain injury free we should be top 2 but we all know we will have injuries.

My biggest concern with DJ is how he deals with adversity and on this point I was worried when I saw his pre match interview on Friday. His body language just shouted out "Woe Is Me" he was clearly sulking about his top players being out injured and I thought I wonder how he will motivate the players for the game in this frame of mind. We all now know the answer.

In his post matvh interview he has laid waste to Adam Matthews, OK the lad made a mistake but in a team game the group should win together and lose together, or at least publically. DJ has gone on and on about Adam having to grow up and improve his application and attidtude. I cannot remember DJ doing the same to Mark Kennedy when he scored an own goal at Deepdale in the 6-0 defeat, and it could be said that goal cost us a place in the playoffs. I do remember him laying waste to Ross for missing a penalty in that game in another example of terrible man management.

The person who needs to grow up is DJ himself he is currently working in an environment of total backing from the owners, he is the highest paid manager in our history, his has the biggest playing budget in the history of our club to work with, however things will not always go to plan and the real measure of his management skills will be how he performs during these times.

As Annis has already said with all our players fit any of us could get this team promoted, but the sun doesn't always shine and at the moment the weather is overcast. Luckily the players will return and someone will pay for these results, starting with Millwall :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Chief i for one am not a DJ fan just wish to give him the chance this season. Yes he has posatives as well as negatives but i have not heard hist post match comments. If by your saying that he said that about young Adam then that is wrong he needs to be guided an arm put round him.Hopefully he will learn from yesterday. Also i have never heard DJ slate Hudson, Rae, or Mcphail so singling out one player was wrong. As i said im not pro or against DJ at the mo but one thing for sure if DJ is sacked today we would defo be fucked and we will kiss goodbye to promotion. The time that i will turn on DJ this season is when we can no longer gain promotion. Please for now lets rally behind DJ and the team for the sake of........

I just do not see how people can criticize DJ after 7 games, Of which we have lost 2. Why are we forgetting impressive wins over Derby and Pompey away and Donny and Hull at home. We have beaten two teams who last year were in the Premiership. Also hammered a decent team in Doncaster and beaten another decent team in Derby away. I cannot see taking an injury hit squad to Leicester and Ipswich and losing as that bad tbh. We are 3rd ffs. Lets get rid of Jones and who would want to take over? Nobody

Nathan I promise you I am not doing this after 3 Defeats(incl Peterborough),I am doing it after nearly 6 yrs of his Management, But If I am Honest I have not been a fan of his over 4 yrs.I just dont like his management and his style of management, I have tried to like it, but I just dont Believe in him as well.

Fair enough you have never changed your opinion of him and that is a credit to you but we need to give him more time. If he doesn't deliver this season then yes but cmon we are 3rd. Out of these 7 games we have had Bellamy twice. Chopra has been out of the best part of 3 games. Whose to say that DJ will get the best out of the players later on?. Hopefully this is a learning curve for the squad that once injury strikes they are responsible, Personally that was the players fault yesterday. Every player bar Marshall was off form and that is something DJ cannot control.

Nathan, we have also lost so many good players through DJ falling out with them.

Yes but that is in the past. We need to forget about Ipswich and Preston 2 years ago, Forget about Wembley and forget about the players who have left Cardiff City. We need to focus on these group of players and what DJ is doing now. Obviously he is doing something right with them that is why we are 3rd.

Yes one day he will go, and the doom and gloom people who has never liked him, and never will, will get their way, and they might then get their man, who ever he may be, have a honeymoon period, say he is the best manager we ever had, should have brought him in earlier and thank god Jones has gone, and then turn on the new man, some of our fans will never be satisfied, with the players, board and managers. I understand football is a growing living organism and need to move forward, but stability is what we need at the moment, in order to move forward, 3rd in the league, two tough away games out of the way., albeit not points, with four critical first team players missing, you could argue that Jones, should have brought, Quinn on to try and secure a draw, but he went for Mathews to try and win the game, Mathews let himself down the manager and the fans down.

Is this the first time 2 jacks scored against us for a different team other than them :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I think that is why Dave Jones is as upset as much as we are, as in earlier post Dave Jones has been criticized for not bringing through young players, maybe Adam proved a point yesterday for Dave Jones, did anyone notice Jay screaming at Adam which I believe was a tirade at him, because of his frustration of the situation, and why did Jay go straight to the dressing room when he came off ? is he injured.

Dave Jones will get us promoted this season.
The guy has worked wonders over the last few seasons and is the best manager we have had in decades.

During the close season we would have been happy just to stay up with the rumours of players leaving and now we have assembled a genuine title contention side.

The injuries have been very unfortunate and I imagine that we would have beaten Leicester and Ipswich had we have had our full squad available.

Keep the Faith.

" I AM REALLY SORRY TO SAY IT and HATE HAVING TO SAY IT "

we already know!!!!!! YOU DONT HAVE TO KEEP SAYING IT!!!

its common knowledge that you dont rate DJ at all but what are you hoping to achieve by telling everyone near enough on a weekly basis???? 'Is DJ the man to take us forward' was more of a contsructive way of saying it and at least more debatable, what your doing now is making it more black & white. Are we with you and part of 'the we hate DJ squad' or not.

If DJ fucks up this season, then fair enough because if he couldnt do it with a squad like weve got now then he probably would never do it. Reiterating a vaild point made already however, with current injuiries losing away to Leicester & Ipswich is not the end of the world. This same team (or 95% of the same team as you put it) lost both of those fixtures last season yet we still made the play-off final. The championship is a very long season and you can still get promoted if you lose 10 games. We will get through this period, & at least now we have a full week until Millwall. Palace at home then Barnsley away before the international break. That will give the injuiries more time to heal. I expect a reaction after 2 losses on the bounce, not from the fans but from the players.

Lets not start moving these rain clouds of doom over our season just yet eh! :ayatollah:
