Onyedinma for Adebayo for Luton.
Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:18 pm
Luton piling on the pressure without really threatening Alex Smithies
We need to regain the confidence with which we started the game but I'll take this score right now

Harris on for Colwill.
Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:34 pm
All hands to the pump now. At the present, Colwell (although a good tech player) is not working hard enough to mark and close down etc
Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:34 pm
Dangerous corner and Smithies does well to clear amidst the crowd.
Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:34 pm
Neat work from Moore to nod down to Harris. Harris tries to slot through Collins and a Luton shirt has to clear it for a throw-in.
Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:34 pm
Harris find the net.
Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:36 pm
More good work from Moore, who nicks in to win the ball and find Giles. Giles in to Harris, who in turn slides in Ralls, but again a Luton defender puts it out for a throw.

GOAL! Luton Town 1-2 Cardiff City (Morrison 77)
GOAL! Morrison!
Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:37 pm
GOAL! Bluebirds skipper, Sean Morrison, with a great flying header from a move started by Marlon Pack
Against the run of play but in our favour, so who cares (outside Luton)?

Onyedinma tries to bend one in, but McGuinness stoically gets his head in the way. Top defending.
Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:47 pm
Was curious at the time but since have looked it up, against bull how were we allowed to make 4 substitutions? Is there a loophole I’ve missed?
Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:48 pm
Great interception from the Luton keeper to deny Isaak Davies. Anything else would have seen a goal or a red card

I asked the same on Weds...

A great win against a useful Luton Town, who might just feel a little hard done by
Two good goals from Rubin Colwill and Sean Morrison saw the Bluebirds take all three points
That's now 10 pts from 18 pts on offer since Steve Morison took over (after 0 from 24 under Mick McCarthy) and it seems we are turning the proverbial corner
Still a long way to go, as we cross the half-way point of the season but all bodes well under the new regimr
FINAL SCORE: LUTON TOWN 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITYCity scorer: Rubin Colwill, Sean Morrison

I was wondering the same but didn't want to look stupid asking in case I had miscounted.

Since the return from Covid, teams can make up to 5 substitutions. It's only temporary though.

But today they said it was only 3, and in other previous it was 3. Can’t find anything official that it’s been reintroduced
