Good to cover all bases mate but there were a few at the turnstiles in front of us whose bar codes weren’t working and the stewards looked at them then gave them a paper ticket.

I agree that the current situation is shambolic, and only goes to further demonstrate how bad things are behind the scenes.

Correct. New cards should have been sent out before our first home game for a start, or at the very least loaded onto existing cards. It can’t be that difficult surly? After all, season ticket renewals went live on July 1st, didn’t they??

Yes but if club had validated 13k cards what would they do when season started with limited capacity as WG didnt make a decision on capacity until start season ? Even more chaos that's for sure... damned if they do damned if they didn't .

Good. I've just deleted the vticket I downloaded from my Bluebird account and will use this latest official version as I read that the graphic code periodically updates, security protocol I guess. I've also taken a screenshot just in case the mobile data reception is pants at the CCS. Hopefully that's all done and we can relax and look forward to the game now.

A 78 year old I spoke to last Monday missed the Barnsley game because he didn't know how to access his ticket and i wouldnt imagine he was the only one. If loads of people are having no problems that's fine for them, but loads aren't finding it easy and are being made to jump through hoops to get something which we paid for over 12 months ago.
We were told that the reason cards weren't sent out for Barnsley was because of the lateness of the Welsh Assembly confirmation. We now find out that that was at best a convenient excuse and they weren't ready anyway. I find it astonishing that anybody can defend the club over this.

That probably explains why the first home game was cardless, but to send out an email last week saying new cards would be sent out this week, before and ready for the Millwall game, and then this week say there is a problem with the postage, or whatever other reason they gave, and the cards won’t be ready until after the Bristol City game is a bit disappointing, considering the club need as many paying fans it can get.
How many City fans actually attended the Barnsley game? Between 14-15 thousand I was told???

Didnt someone post that there was a problem with the delivery of the cards after the e- mail was sent out? Maybe the club should have said nothing then nobody have anything to complain about.... at end of day people had opportunity to get paper tickets if they required them? In all my years 50 of watching city there as always been laughter at the size of crowd so last week was nothing new.
