Re: MY VIEW: CCFC HMMMMMM FOR ME TODAY WAS NOT THE BEST STAR

My prediction for this sesason is that we will draw more games than any other team in the division. I would have put money on it if any bookies had been offering odds indeed I would have bet on us drawing more games than anyone else in the EFL and that was before yesterday's game. MM was always happy to settle for a draw at Ipswich. Trouble is if you draw loads of games you are mote likely to be relegated than promoted.

Don't like to be negative but can't see anything in our pre season form or yesterday's game to suggest we will be anywhere near to top six.

Mick brought 2 attacking players on...and Barnsley were in time wasting mode....

Since his brilliant six game winning run at the start of his spell at Cardiff his record is won 4 drawn 10 lost 3.I will say MM is excellent when it comes to not losing but there is going to be hell of a lot of draws. I will be trying to make some money betting on us to draw. Should have done so yesterday but I thought Barnsley would be much worse than last season and we would win.

after his excellent start we then had injury after injury and we had very little depth in quality ... its really not the same thing playing the 11 you think is your best 11 and then playing with 3 or 4 missing ...

If we’re serious about promotion this season we need a couple of quality Premier League loanees otherwise it will be mid table or worse judging by yesterday’s game against a Barnsley side who lost their best two players and top Manager from last season.

But we’re not serious about promotion.
That’s virtually impossible with our squad.

I’ll be delighted to be proved wrong.

Don’t believe the spin.

The word “Promotion” has never been used to describe this season’s objectives,,,, more like cost control and conciliation.
It’s crystal clear that our current squad is simply, and obviously not good enough for a top six finish,,,, that’s not being negative or defeatist, that’s being realistic and objective. MM, and anyone else for that matter can put as much spin and delusional chit chat about it as they like, but don’t fool yourself, if you thought yesterday’s performance was bad……

I know, and so was I. Any club that plans for promotion are focused and organised,,, from Top to bottom. Everyone and everybody is working in one direction, as a solid team. Directors, back room staff, playing squad, and the fans. There is a sense of passion, belonging, and involvement with the progress being made. I’m afraid I feel there is none of this at City at the moment.
