Spot on this post, wage cap at the very least. My point is and Im astonished that I need to explain it.

Who's paying and subsidising this excessive lifestle. Us the fans thats who, merchandise, season tickets, food in staduim, etc.

Football pyramid needs ripping up from top down. Lots of Football clubs are not a viable business because of wages.

When comes to any thought process in the boardroom we are last. First are Players, agents, transfer and agent fees. We get the scraps!!

Ticket prices

10 a ticket, 5 for kids, 40 for a full kit, 150 season ticket. Fu.. the millionaires and look after your own. 20 is plenty for away trips and subsidised away travel. Stop exploiting our love of football and the club you follow.

Robbing bastards, see the champions leage prices for tickets. Scandelous, and yet no protest.Perhaps super league will be cheaper. The happy few who can afford go though.

Fu... off footbal and go bust.

Don't buy a ticket then. Stop going to games and stop buying merch.

Your post is completely hypocritical otherwise.

The guy is an unthinking hypocrite...

There he is!!!!

The fan who thinks football fans around the uk get a good deal . I do not agree , simples. Cap their fu... wages. If they get fat like Tomlin due to unprofessional conduct then fine them half their wages and give to a food bank.

Keep shilling away. Its a choice and I will walk away gladly. Will I go to the odd match, probably.

Will I buy a season ticket if they are giving them away inline with Swansea season ticket prices . Yes, definitely. If same price as previous seasons after this pandemic and the struggles people have gone through then no. They can fu... off and do one.

Incidentally , I do think Cardiff tickets are reasonable I guess.

However, drop it to 150 plus and more families will come. 350 for many working families still a stretch I guess.

Just do 10 for adults and 5 for kids. Pay as you go on the gate is the way .

It's actually 50 quid more than our cheapest adult ST last season.
In the Family Stand an adult ticket was £249 for the 20/21 season which works out as £10.80 per game. Well within his apparent "acceptable price" of £12 behind the goals :?

People see the 'Jacks' as this perfect community-based club that is the model for everyone else, yet the outright truth is far from it

Should they not gain promotion next week, they will have major financial issues next season as they also lose their parachute payment and their 'star' striker (as much as I dislike him, he has almost single-handedly kept them in the chase) is out of contract this summer, so can go on a 'free'

Course we get a good deal.

We pays our money and gets to watch football. If we don’t want to pays our money we don’t have to.

Not sure how we don’t get a good deal.

Mehmet Dalman and Ken Choo do receive money from the club. I don`t have the figures going back over the years to hand but can access them tomorrow. I have the latest accounts to hand and I can state that in the year to 31 May 2019 that the total paid to directors was £533k and that , in addition ,the accounts disclose that companies in which Mehmet Dalman had an interest received £967k in consultancy and management fees. I have seen the figures for the year to 31 May 2020 but cannot disclose them until after the accounts are on the public register at Companies House (will happen in next few days). It should be noted that Vincent Tan is not a director of the club so would not be included in the above figures nor disclosed as a separate expense although there is no reason to assume that he took a salary from the club.

To answer a separate question all sources of income (including parachute payments) are included in the income figures I quoted at the beginning of this thread,

Keith

Keith

Thank you Keith, very much appreciated :bluebird:

Why?

Warnock points out he’s quite busy at our club.

Proves Tan takes nish from the club.

Nearly a million pounds. Just seems a lot of money that's all.

It does appear to be a large figure but, from memory of a conversation I had with Mehmet a couple of years ago on the subject , part of it is down to the way of repaying him for loans he and his businesses put into the club to help it over a cash shortfall position which was badged as consultancy fees in the accounts.

What's clear is people are happy to bandy around figures without any substance or knowledge of why or how the figures are arrived at.. football finances are a complex entity and probably the only people who know what the facts are the ones involved at club.

It certainly is for MP Dalman and the same Dalman who was off to Charlton Hmmmmmm?

Living in London and running another business and I would also be interested in seeing how much expenses are taken out of our club?

people do bandy figures around ... but that doesnt change the fact that prior to Tan we were a top end championship club losing money... x amount of hundreds of millions of pounds of TV money later .. we are probably a bit worse off on the field and losing even more money.... there is a difference in that under Tan we are unlikely to be in court over 3rd party debts that he is unable to pay if push comes to shove...but people are bound to scratch their heads and wonder how we managed before and how less fortunate { re TV money } clubs manage whether the figure is 400 mil or 500 mil....

The trouble is, people arrive at these figures of 4/500m, with the thinking we have had 7 years of parachute payments, when we havent had 7 years worth, as we were immediately relegated after a season! I'm sure you have alliuded to this?

The difference between pre Tan and now is that we had mortgaged our future away to stay a top end championship club. We were in court facing being wound up. There was no income for the next pre season from season tickets as it had already been spent with the golden ticket fiasco.

Now of course we are no longer doing that.

Don’t forget we also had two seasons in the premier league something we couldn’t quite manage pre Tan.

A lot of truth in there.

But we actually have had more cases with Tan than any other owner and we have lost all of them.

And now we have three more court cases and Dalman says if we lose the Sala case that’s virtually it for us.

Mon May 24, 2021 3:37 pm

Surely they've kepted the Sala money in a seperate bank account.

Real nice of him to lend us money. Of course we have to pay him back. So he's off to Charlton YET lends us?

Errrrrrrrr...
