well it was a laughing emoji...but if not a laugh your certainly not prepared to take it seriously... it was a reason not an excuse... having mental health issues does not come with a limp or a lump on your back or a badge to wear.. its invisble its inside someone... the wife said she had cried every day for a whole year... you cant just be dismissing her words as lies because you think it....

Very rarely will a person suffering from acute, median or slight mental health issues, open up on a public forum and let all assundry to see.

As you indicated, it's not a badge any of us are proud to wear. If people open up they are damned if they do and damned if they don't. If they do they are "attention seekers", if they don't they make rash comments which quickly get them thrown into the "fruitcake conspiracy basket".

We are all what we are, good, bad and ugly. I've never tried to throw a stone whilst inside a glass house, I couldn't afford the replacement quite frankly!

Also worth noting that the MHRA esstimate that only 10% of reactions are reported to their "Yellow Card Scheme"!

So maybe some people would rather take their chances with their immune system beating a flu like virus, that has a miniscule chance of killing them, than an experimental drug that is still on trials.

No Mr Birchgrove, the MHRA is a UK agency so it is UK figures only. It's not so much the numbers for me, it's more about the lack of reporting and scrutiny. It makes you ask the question what else are they hiding?

If you want to take the vaccine I have no problem, assuming it works you are safe, why worry about others who value their own immune system above an experiment? I don't get it.

I have my own transport, and if I want to go for a drink or meal, as long as I social distance from anyone not in my bubble then i am quite happy to do that. At my age my health is more important for myself and friends. I can still enjoy life no matter what

I have a good friend that I spoke with this morning, he is a trauma surgeon. He blew me out of the water on the fact that I should take the vaccine.

When I mentioned frewill he also said I was being selfish......we agreed to disagree.
