If he liquidates the club he loses everything. The only asset the club has is the ground. The council would almost certainly inserted a clause in the sale of the land which restricts its use to sporting activities. Who else wants a 33,000 stadium on the outskirts of Cardiff? Its our guarantee that means its in any creditors interest to keep the club alive.

It was the fact that the Council owned the freehold on Ninian Park that prevented anyone else buying the club and selling the land.

Martin,

The council have inserted a clause in the sale of the land which restricts its use to sporting activities only :thumbright: :thumbright:

Tan said 11 yrs ago he would leave our club in a better way than we were then.

Tan bought 51% of our club for £4mill and we were already at Wembley v Blackpool play-off Final to go to the Prem, he gambled as it would of in them days be worth £90mill. Everyone thought we would win, odds on. Tan had never seen a football match before and for him he was gambling peanuts.

Our debts were about £58mill thanks to the Riddler, they had risen massively.

Then suddenly they rose to £170mill with in years, badly run by Tan & his CEO's.

Tan says he put £205mill in to our club.

Club has through promotions etc received well over £400mill.

Tan has had about 70% of his money back, would of had it all back by now, but due to so many court cases and costs etc still owed money and the massive loss on his rebrand etc.

DJ,RIDDLER,LANGSTON,MALKY,OLE,SALA,ISSACCS & A NEW CONTRACT WITH SIGNED WITH LANGSTON etc etc THESE COURT CASES HAVE COST OUR CLUB AT LEAST £70 MILL PLUS.

Venkies - Coventry?

yes if you read back...Allan was making a point about poor owners... Coventry whose owners have been in place for 13 years and whose problems can not be all set at their door..
and the Venkies whose poor ownership for 11 years has them 8 points above us having not had prem TV money or parachute payments for years...
Wigan would have been a better example..
