We’ll know if he’s long or short term by the amount of money he is given for the transfer window. If not, we’ll know by the number of frees or loans he gets.

His BBC interview was quite funny. Practically saying he’s going to play hoof ball. I guarantee it we’ll be playing the same old boring footie.

Personally i think its the fresh start that Cardiff need
Not everyone will admire his style of football, but thats common with most managers in the Championship.

I think the problem was Harris lost the dressing room.
Morale seemed low and was almost like team were not out to win games

was there disagreement between players and Manager?
We saw that in the premiership and the players have the final say on the pitch.

We may see an improvement straight away if thats the case.

Any way Cardiff is my team, i back them through the good and bad times, so i back Mick fully and hope he takes us where i feel we should be.

I can not wait to see us all back in the stands. Its seems an age since i been in that stadium.

After a 160 votes less than half think he’s an improvement. More in line now with what I expected but still surprised by how how it is.

im not surprised...the conversations and threads on here re new manager have mostly been unrealistic... and already there is play off talk which should he win a game or 2 will get traction...followed by him being a huge failure if we then miss out.... seems to get more and more unreasonable... i wonder if WBA fans started thinking Europe might be realistic when they appointed Sam...

Brilliantly put!!

I think we set ourselves up. Christmas time I was hoping for Eddie Howe. January time I was hoping for Bellamy. Then when Harris eventually got sacked I thought we’d go Pearson or Hughes.

So when Big Mick got announced I was a little gutted. That said, he’s already changed the status quo. No Mozza or Wilson in the starting line up and he’s recalled Brown.

Not gonna lie he’s growing on me a bit.

All I’m seeing is team set up and line ups to reinforce my view.

My feeling is ....give the guy a chance.
I think his team selection was interesting but a little strange. That is not a problem as he is still getting to know the players and the blend of plyers he has got.
If pushed, I would say one negative and 3 positives on the evidence to date.
The negative today was taking Moore off and replacing with Glatzel. Bit baffling!?! Sadly I dont think Glatzel is up to it, and in any case, Moore is our main goalscoerer.
On the positive side
1/ I think dropping Wilson was a good move. Hopefully, it will bring the best out of him (as per today) and he will pick him next time.
2/ He gave the subs enough time to have an impact. Harris often brought them on too late.
3/ The team has twice come back from a losing position. That shows some gumption and effort from the players and manager.

I hope he signs at least one player, (2 preferably),before the window ends. Almost everyone on here agrees a creative midfield player would be one priority area. :bluebird: :bluebird:

when your starting point is to start a poll with the intension of belittling a new manager and calling
him a prick... yes what ever happens after other than winning 4 or 5 on the spin is going to reinforce your original view...
