Was he?
Anyhow last season is history; this season has been a disaster from Northampton in the Cup to not winning a home game.
It’s not going to get any better if a manager played again a trio of Ralls, Vaulks & Pack who were so abysmal at Derby.

Is it my imagination or did we once have a midfielder who could pass forwards (McPhail) and another who actually did something (Ledley) and a battery of offensive players (Bothroyd, Chopra, Burke & McCormack) who made watching City a joy - even if the defence was suspect?

If you can not adjust, you shouldn't be anywhere near professional sport.

If he can't see that Pack is not Pirlo and Morrison is not Van Dyke and make the necessary adjustment then he needs to go during the international break.

I don't want us to become a hire and fire club, but when the evidence indicates that he has no aptitude for championship football management the we need to pull the trigger.

IMO the players have sussed he isn't up to it or just can't do what he wants.

He cannot be this bad, IMO he is trying to be so different to Warnock its almost a parody. Play to our strengths, up the pace work out the right back situation and try to win from the start........

I guess Eddie Howe is setting his sights on bigger clubs than us.

He certainly has lost the players, the performances have shown that plus their attitudes.

Throwing the players under the bus, he's gone when he does that.

He's right to throw the players under the bus, they are letting him,and fans down, with inept skill levels across the park, our pass success rate is sub standard, and that's being kind,or are you saying he should go,and these players will suddenly find skills like passing the f@cking ball for Eddie how, or whoever?
The players should be giving their all,as it's the club that pays their wages, not the manager! I for one admire his honesty,if you don't try and bust a gut for this club, then you don't play for this club,it's what fans have been demanding?why not the manager? :old: :bluebird:

lets try the first 4 QPR players to touch the ball miss placed their pass, they looked poor out of form and with no confidence.. roll forward 45 minutes and we were lucky to only be 2 down ..the 2nd half was a bit better but 2 penalties from situations where we were not going to score in open play from made the scoreline flatter us...

6 points from the next 2 home games or he's gone.

have asked others this a few times... at what point would you consider it not too early ?

To be honest, around the Christmas period when a 'new' man could maybe bring in a (likely loan) player or two to break the mould of what we have

I really don't believe Harris has 'lost' the dressing room; that is something that is always raised when a team is on a poor run. Look at Saturday's result and the previous two; each one being an uphill struggle because we gave away the first goal so cheaply that it beggars belief

Currently, I can't see the manager being totally to blame with the exception of maybe making some positive changes for the next couple of games...

Tomlin and Wilson are still getting to grips with the season and (at least I hope) will have a positive effect on the field of play as the weeks come fast and furious; and I would give Bagan a run of games in place of the currently fading and ineffectual Bennett, whilst moving Curtis across to full back with Filip Benkovic siting alongside Morrison

Having said that, we also need to be getting some value form our strikers, as we are averaging around a goal a game, which puts added pressure on the defence and draws our main striker (Moore) out of position far too easily

And McPhail got loads of stick too from the fans for sideways passes.

Loyalty of a sewer rat some Cardiff fans.

We must be the ficklest fuckers ever?

We would probably want Klopp out after the Villa game.

Next 2 games are Barnsley (H), and Bristol City (H) before the international break. If he doesnt get a minimum of 4pts i think he should go. The team are awful to watch and im still baffled why Joe Bennett is playing ahead of Joel Bagan when one has put in two 7/10 performances and the other has probably had 2 good games in 2 years. Talks a good game but clearly isnt fully invested in giving youth a proper chance.

Voted no. After pulling us into the playoffs last year when it looked like it was game over in the mid-season break he deserves at least until Christmas. We were unlucky to a degree to not got a point last night, their winner was against the run of play, and as route one as it comes. Until that point it was us pushing for the win.

But...

He needs to get us turning up from the start.

Needs to make changes for Barnsley - hopefully, injuries allowing, we can see Tomlin, Ojo and Wilson the pitch at the same time - fluid three behind either Glatzel or Moore could do some damage and be exciting to watch.

I say no, we are in the middle of a pandemic, some teams and players may benefit short term, others may be affected in a more negative manner. We have also been unlucky with injuries to lose three full backs in the first few weeks is a blow and changes in defence can cause uncertainty and an increase in goals conceded. I saw enough last year to see that he improved us and was taking us in the right direction, this is a set back not the end of the World!

Our 3 best players are injured. Lets see what happens when we have Tomlin, Wilson and Bekovic in the side.

That's a trio we all want to see. But Going by what we've seen the last few games im not sure Harris has the balls to play them all together - he didn't even have the balls to start ojo in the no.10 position after that abysmal performance at Derby. Well probably only see 2 of those players playing at the same time unless we are losing.

Whilst the performances have been very poor I still think (hope) theres a lot more to come from this team. Tomlin and wilson have been out and havnt featured together, Tutu is out and we are yet to Benkovic. All 4 would probably be in the starting 11 when fit and would make a massive difference. Not sure Harris will be here long enough to see them all playing though the ways things have been. He needs a massive performance in the next two games or i think he'll be gone.
