Its very simple keep your social distance and good hand hygiene and the rest takes care of itself. I think Caerphilly has brought this on itself and the rest of the country needs to sit up and pay attention SIMPLE
Lol what a load of bollocks
Testing in Caerphilly is up due to a mobile testing station, more tests are going to show more infections it’s quite simple maths
I’d argue that other areas of wales have higher rates but because testing numbers are down no one bats and eyelid

From 6pm tomorrow as a resident of Caerphilly I can't meet my family in my home, but wait a minute, I can go down the pub to see them.
As Drakeford likes to say "This is how we do it in Wales".
This needs to happen but how on earth can our Government let pubs / restaurants stay open.

No you cant!! You can only meet with people from your your own household in a pub in caerphilly after 6pm tonight. So the Welsh Government strategy makes sense. However, if the rules are not followed then pubs will be closed.
So I can't go to a pub in Caerphilly and sit socially distanced from my family

I live in the borough and its been no different here to ANYWHERE else in the UK.
We just had a couple of cases and every man and his f*cking dog decided to go and get tested hence the rise and why it will rise again, cos of the testing not because its suddenly here, its always been here and everywhere.
Sorry if my tone seems a little off, its just done my head right in.
I get what you are saying mate but surely more people are getting tested because they have symptoms or have been near someone with a positive test, in other areas maybe they are not having a test for the opposite reasons?
Caerphilly residents are going on mass for testing! symptoms or not it's just panic stations which suits WG as people more likely obey their commands...

Wales' first local lockdown will last until at least October, the health minister has said.
From 18:00 BST on Tuesday no-one will be allowed to leave Caerphilly county without good reason.
Vaughan Gething said new restrictions on the 181,000 people living in the county would last for weeks, at least into October.
Family and friends living apart will no longer be able to meet indoors, stay overnight, or form extended households.
It comes after a spike in cases, with 98 people testing positive in a week.
The Welsh Government said, with 55.4 coronavirus cases per 100,000 population, the county had the highest rate in Wales and one of the highest in the UK.

More tests don't show more infections, unless the people they are testing have the virus?
Logic tells me there is more testing because there aremore people with the virus, they are not random testing the whole of Caerphilly are they?

I wish that was the case mate but people have just been spooked now and are turning up em masse symptoms are not. 3 hour tail backs and talk of running out of kits such is the high level of testing. Lots of the positive tests are people with no symptoms but getting themselves tested and finding out they have had it, possibly been in their system months like a lot of us probably have.

We should be protesting about this not BLM crap, and I'm in if there is a protest as we have to put an end to this utter nonsense of what the powers of this world are doing to people and our children.
I have had this view from day one and done some research to back up these ideas. Not everyone will agree but we need to ask questions now.

Don't get me wrong Drakeford is a clown, but I don't think any of them can do anything, without many people saying they are doing it wrong.

I agree, how many deaths in Wales? Hardly any? How many even in hospital? This is getting stupid now. Something is up.
People’s livelihoods ruined due to a few young idiots going out? Yeah right no problem.....
