System is fucked.

Trying to do the lads ST - its shitting itself on the reactivation + digital pass option.

Giving it an error about not a valid option or some crap.

Won't let me proceed unless I opt for a new card when theres no need as he already has one.

I bet thats why his app access to the live matches is fucked as well.

I'm odd that I do ours backwards - his first, that way a smaller amount of money is tied up should anything go wrong

Doing a small update to the site. Queue will start again in a few minutes

Hahaha. Anyone managed to renew yet?

Re: BREAKING: " 2020/21 SEASON TICKETS ON SALE FROM WEDNESDA

Managed to add both season tickets to one transaction but still getting the message on the lads ST about "This type of delivery can only be used if the earlier owned season card is assigned to the same seat and selected seasonal price is continuity from the previous season card"

Of course its continuity you dopey buggers - he's bloody 9. You have his DoB on the system.

Don't bother trying to ring the ticket office.

Answer machine message saying they are closed.

Re: BREAKING: " 2020/21 SEASON TICKETS ON SALE FROM WEDNESDA

Renewed my two. Bit confusing but worked in the end.

Word of warning tho, it seems to be open season on seats, i would assume your seat for 2019/20 would have been reserved until next week, but they are all open for anyone to buy. So if you are waiting for the queue to die down and buy later in the week, you may find your usual seat has been taken

Re: BREAKING: " 2020/21 SEASON TICKETS ON SALE FROM WEDNESDA

Wed Jul 22, 2020 10:33 am

I thought that too She'd because you could click on any. But it does appear most of them have a red background. Assuming that's the reserved seats?! I didn't try any checkout on one, I'm hoping it would block it!

Was super easy to do and even to add the ticket credit and citycash to it for me and my son. Under 300 quid for 2 seats. Bargain.

I tried to move a few rows back and the system told me the seat was reserved for Fan No ***** so I just renewed last seasons seat.

Another word of warning - paying by card and have security stuff happen.

If you fail the card security stuff for whatever reason the seating site will seemingly lock your seats out.

I'm locked out of mine as I'd forgotten to change my mobile number with the card issuer.

Re: BREAKING: " 2020/21 SEASON TICKETS ON SALE FROM WEDNESDA

Wed Jul 22, 2020 11:11 am

Renewed same seats for my old man and I £375 for the pair of us absolute bargain as I had £75 refund off my ticket making it £209 and he had £45 off his senior ticket making it £166 - great seats as we enjoy being centre side of the pitch

Up the city let’s hope we don’t miss too many home games

Happened to me, security check by credit card, cancelled transaction on site and went through process from start again, using another credit card, all ok then

Rang card issuer, did the checks and they unlocked the card.

The seating site unlocks the locked seats if you log out and wait 30 minutes.

Workaround if you get the U16 with full paying adult message that I got - pay the extra £2.50 on the U16 ST for a new card.

Yep, its a few quid more but its a few days wait for non-urgent stuff like that - the ticketing guys came back in minutes for the payment card security thing.

Fair do's - I managed to get in and it was no bother renewing. You must remember to click on the two items City cash (sliding scale of what you want to use) and refund box. All in all they knocked off almost £100 using the City cash and refund amount :ayatollah:

Yep, credit where it's due the site just worked simply for me. 3 minute queue and then easy to reclaim credit and City cash.

Under £250 for a Zone 3 Adult !! At that price I only need to get to 10 games and it will be worth it !!

I just hope the club haven't been too generous with these credits/discounts. Does anyone know what other Championship clubs are doing ?

Of course, if we manage to get to the Prem then I doubt they'll worry too much about Season Ticket income compared to the tv money !!

that's what I find shocking all well and good giving code for watching at home, but what about season tickets in same household, you'd only need one code. I'll renew later this week as if I don't I'll lose my seat on halfway line but not happy about the tough shit attitude from the club if we physically are not allowed to attend

Choose to add discount or citycash then checkout as per usual.
It surprised me how simple it was as the new site has been useless for everything else.

On Facebook & Twitter 100’s of City fans are saying they won’t renew unless they are guaranteed to know how many live games in person at the stadium they will see for their hard earned money and N0 refund has put so many off.

VINCE ALM:

Cardiff City Supporters Club

No refund message on Cardiff city website if a fixture is played behind closed doors and you do not want to have a streaming code or use one.

This has angered a lot of supporters since the announcement Monday and we totally sympathise with those feelings. We have received numerous message complaining about it and have taken it up with the football club since Monday for clarification.

We are hoping it is just a poor bit of PR as I am not sure it is legal if you cannot provide something you pay for and not have some sort of reimbursement option. Personally I think they should have at least be rolling over credit as a minimum for future tickets. I have spoken to some of the main people at the club and I am currently waiting for them to get back to me.

I added a second easily enough.

Just before check out click add another.
I did have to find the seat on the map. Click on it. Add to basket.
Choose what type of ticket.
Add any credit you have.
Then allocate to owner, I used my son's email, it found him easily enough.
Then checkout all tickets in your basket.

VINCE ALM:

Current seats, moving seats for next season, can I sit in my seat?

Received quite a few queries in regards to keeping seats and moving seats as above.

These are questions I asked the club last week on behalf of the supporters and supporters club when England announced fans maybe able to return to stadiums with a 30-50% capacity in October / Nov . Unfortunately the football club were not in a position or able to put any information out regards these key questions as they have to date received no guidance from Welsh Government and local authorities on capacity and what social distance measures need to be put in place.

I understand talks will start with the local authority in the coming weeks so they have a plan with the club in anticipation of the Welsh government allowing spectators to return to watching sport.

There will be no refunds.

I am sure the majority of you understand why you may not be able to sit in your seats during restrictions and maybe asked to move temporarily to comply with social distancing rules if we are allowed back into the stadium anytime soon
