its the top 6 mate.. Forest and ourselves have slipped against mid table teams like sheffield wednesday and yourselves respectively..... other than that there isnt much difference..

Are you being silly again? You have been a decent poster in the past so it’s a shame to see you make comments like this.

silly ..says the man who was insistent there was a 45% death rate from covid.. try checking how we do against the top sides first dopey .

Are you feeling ok? You seem to be making things up now. What I said was if you take the Chinese figures out then the death to recovery rate was 40%. That wasn’t an opinion, it was a fact. I noted that once testing increases then that number will obviously come down. I assume you were one of the silly posters that couldn’t grasp the point?

And onto the next point. I repeat, the likely path of the 6th placed team this season will be either Fulham/Brentford in the semis and the other in the final. Between Cardiff and Swansea - we have played both those clubs 8 times this season cumulatively and won zero, none, zip.

not made up.? ..it showed a total lack of understanding for the most simple of things. its interesting your defending your gross stupidity because i though you were deliberately scaremongering at the time... as i thought that absolutely no one is that thick ...

Absolutely made up, yes.

The only lack of understanding shown at the time was from people like yourself that could not grasp the statement... the factual statement at that. I repeat, it was not an opinion - it was a fact. “Scaremongering” is usually the go-to from someone who simply does not understand the point being made. All you had to do was ask instead of getting your knickers in a twist to the point you are still harbouring it almost 6 months later :laughing6:

But I guess anything to change the subject from the point I had just made regarding Brentford and Fulham eh? (Factual point once again I must add).

It’s absolutely harbouring it. This is one of the most bizarre exchanges I have had on this forum to date, and I’ve had a few.

Leaving what go? I repeat, it was not an opinion, it was a fact. You just couldn’t understand the point being made and still don’t by the sounds of it.

To bring up what is an indisputable fact 6 months later when talking about football and calling said indisputable fact “stupid” is one of the strangest conversations I have had. If that isn’t someone getting their knickers in a twist over something they clear had and still have no comprehension over then I don’t know what is, but feel free to deny it all you like :D

It's like arguing with a woman. You'll NEVER win.

There are in it for duration and irritability.

Plus they are NOT handicapped by the need to make sense

:)

Debating with me is easy if you have a point Allan. All you have to do is be confident what point you have, don’t lie, don’t misquote me and don’t get all silly about it when it’s not going your way. Stick to those rules and you will be more than fine.

As soon as it becomes clear you don’t understand your point, you are covering your lack of understanding by sheer nonsense then I tend to rip those apart in seconds.

The problem is most people that try to argue with me don’t have much of a point to start with and then complain when that stance is exposed as easily as it is.

You will never win if your point is nonsense. That’s the bottom line.

My advice to anyone getting into any debate with anyone is you have to have a solid point to start with. If you don’t have that then you are fighting an uphill battle and it will be you that will end up floundering and running off crying foul, because sense always wins over someone who is literally just saying something for the sake of it, or for deflection purposes.

Hence why people get all het up when I post - I always ensure I have a solid point.

Deflection or derailment will lose you ground I totally agree.

By the way anyone seen the latest Argos catalogue?

Absolutely. Hence why trying to get out of a debate about the playoffs by talking about a factual Covid discussion 5 months ago is as transparent as the cellophane the toys come wrapped in from the Argos catalogue. :laughing6:

A good chance is more like? It's in our own hands which you would want

Looking at the table, all 3 teams we play, will have to come at us,derby,to keep in the picture, and boro and hull will be fighting to stay in the division, personally I think that could be ideal for us to hit them on the break! As you say it's in our hands, let's hope for 3 wins, then regardless of what anyone else does, it won't matter.cmon city,we can do this, form can have a habit of deserting teams in the play offs, and to be fair,we would need Brentford to dropo off considerably ,as they are flying at present who gives a shit anyway, imho I didn't expect to be in with a shout, with 3 to play, with a new manager in place, who was not many people's first choice,he has done quite well in my eyes to date, long may it reign. :old: :bluebird:
