Those who don’t like my posts then have the opportunity to put me on ignore (pm me and I’ll talk you through the process). Then hopefully 2020 will see a better forum, more flowing football debates, less bizarre and inaccurate guessing of who is who (it clearly confuses people like Al, Sven and dog) and the only ones left that will be able to see my posts are those that wish to enter into sensible debate.

Of course it was a discussion, me having perfectly well rounded opinions and being abused for it is a constant discussion, as is the Warnock managerial change and the Sala transfer fee. I am perfectly entitled to start a topic with them all housed in one to show I was perfectly within my rights to have said what I did.
My point regarding Tan's education is that you can have his wealth and still not be particularly bright, meaning assuming all his decisions are correct is a huge error. The re-brand will show you that. As far as I am aware my track record in sports business is superior to Tan's, I don't believe he has made any money at all from the industry, whether he owns a McDonald's franchise is irrelevant to sport.
I do love the argument leaned on in desperation regarding ''If I had money I wouldn't post on a football forum'' that we hear every now and againThe more successful you become the more time you tend to have, plus the forum is not a physical place. For example most of the time I browse football (including the forum) is when quiet in work, the rare time I am on here in my leisure time is by my pool when my partner has decided to get in the pool and I'm still tanning. I'm chuckling to myself because that's actually 100% true.

But you have no idea how much time I spend looking at football. Yesterday for example I spent about 13 minutes, 4 spells of 3-4 minutes, yet someone like you sees two posts a few hours apart and assume that all the time in between has been staring at the screen![]()
Having wealth also doesn’t mean that you get less time at work to browse football, in fact quite the opposite so you would be surprised, I hope you see for yourself one day. Apology accepted.
I see no link at all. You think because I have a tan I will end up in a hospice? As I said, it is ludicrous and an awfully silly comment to make. That's like saying you see cancer patients so its a mark of someone that they eat bacon, sausages or use paint - I assume then that you don't do any? You see people who have been in car accidents so its a mark of a man that he still continues to drive etc etc![]()
You seem very insecure. I don't care what your job is, how much you earn, none of it - I haven't asked. You seem to have taken offence that I answered your question when you asked me if I was wealthy, did you want me to lie and say no? My advice is that if it annoys you and gets you hung up on what someone else does or earns - then don't ask them in the first place.

You mean correlation? I see as much correlation to skin cancer and tanning as I do between sausages and cancer and driving a car with broken bones. I certainly don't think tanning, driving or eating sausages say anything about anyone and certainly do not have a great chance of leading to any of the aforementioned. Suggesting so is very silly indeed.
You were asking me, quite intentionally regarding the ''time'' spent on here, due to your question I felt it right to give you an answer, which was explaining when I come on here. You also asked me about my wealth, which I answered graciously for you again. You have spent the rest of the time moaning about the fact I am tanned and telling me how little importance you put on having financial rewards from your job - something only you have brought up.
If I am ''blowing my trumpet'' it means I have been correct yet again in a subject which is current, relevant and saw the expressing of that view be met with a torrent of abuse, banning and castigating. The best thing to do would be to accept another's opinion, if you disagree then you can explain your point. Thats called a debate. The reaction to my views is only going to lead to having egg on your face... hence the point of the thread.

You said, and I quote “ The last 3 lines says it all about you,for me.the last sentence in particular”.
That last line was me saying I was tanning. That doesn’t say anything about me. Just as eating sausages doesn’t say anything about anyone else, or driving a car for that matter.
It is terrifying you claim to be in the healthcare profession and you are completely unaware of the links between processed meat and cancer. According to the WHO (world health organisation) processed meat is listed as a group 1 carcinogen along with plutonium and paint.
You asked me personal questions to which I replied as candidly, but as fairly as possible considering the nature of your questions. Instead of accepting them and being grateful of my answers, you seem to have gone into a spiral of “yeah it’s not that good, I don’t need a lot of money, so what loads of people have x, y, z... etc etc” it’s very telling that my answers have made you uncomfortable and insecure.
But let’s now draw a line under that, I will remain wealthy, you will remain happy in your job, I will remain tanned, you will presumably keep eating sausages and driving, I along with the majority of the western world will be celebrating Xmas as a family time, you will continue to convince yourself most people are doing it with religion in mind, I will continue sitting by my pool and you will be safe in the knowledge “other people have pools too” - so we all agree and we are all happy with that.
Now, if you can show me where I am incorrect regarding any of the ON TOPIC points I have made then we can further the discussion without getting side tracked by whatever nonsense you have since decided to talk about. Ta.

I didn’t say you did, did I? I am happy to presume you do, and if you don’t then I am happy to presume you drive. Both contribute to death in some cases.
Yes I did say “my pool”, why is that bad? I didn’t even realise that was an issue until you are now telling me I was the one to say it. You asked me about the “time” I spent on here - that was me explaining to you when I come in here and usually in what situation, I didn’t think you would take it so badly.
You asked if I was a millionaire yes, quite a personal question and also subjective. A cash millionaire? Asset millionaire? Stocks millionaire? I think I am best placed to answer that I am extremely comfortable and if I decided to quit my career today then I wouldn’t need to work again. That answers your question as to why I am in the industry I am when I could be in another - that’s because I can get the same lifestyle doing the career I chose.
How do you know what most people do? It isn’t strange behaviour at all. I find it hilarious that someone is so hung up about what I do, what I earn and where I am when I am posting. This site makes me audibly chuckle almost daily, this thread is no different.
Processed meats are a prime cause of cancer, hence why it’s a group 1 carcinogen, you should know that.

you wished all on here a merry christmas,as well as myself, keep deflecting if you want, but it's easier to hold your hand up occasionally, when it's proved you made a fib up of not using the greeting of merry Christmas at all.you could have all the money in the world, but it doesn't make you look any less a fool, who portrays to be right on nearly every topic, look forward to the epitaph on the sala decision from you
no doubt going into every post with a fine tooth comb,IF you are correct of course,or face another 10 pager about how the arbitration process is flawed,if you are wrong.you keep sunbathing,I won't, and furthermore to your eating processed meat barb,I am vegetarian
now go and find a link, that shows me the 1st case of cancer, due to eating sausages
because not all people who do eat meat, get it from supermarkets either, most I know get their meat produce from their local butcher.only people on low incomes suffer the true backlash of processed meat.
but in my 6 yrs at the hospice, never once have I heard a specialist say for sure, sausages have caused this
last thing, try not to make assumptions about a person, without asking a few questions first

There is no such thing as sausage cancer, just like there is no such thing as sun cancer. There is colon cancer and skin cancer which is what each thing contributes to. Anybody who looks after the interests of patients is in the health care profession, whether you see it that way or not. If you are dealing with cancer patients and as a result feel the need to pass judgement on others, then you really need to know your stuff - which you clearly don't.
Why are you saying ''there is your answer'' regarding monetary value? I didn't ask you, in fact I said it doesn't interest me in the slightest which is why I was asking why it is concerning you so much. I did not answer whether I am a millionaire because it is a stupid question, as I said, a millionaire is meaningless, do you mean cash millionaire? asset millionaire? are you talking GBP? AUD? USD? Your obsession with money revolved around asking me why I am not advising football clubs for money or as rich as Vincent Tan. My answer was I am sufficiently wealthy in my chosen field. The question is answered. That's great you are retired, I want to be retired 15 years by the time I am 55. that's the aim, and am in perfect position to do so.
Which facts are showing me to be less than truthful? I use Merry Xmas intentionally, explained why. If I have ever written Merry Christmas then it was absent minded of me due to tiredness or force of habit from a young boy where Christmas was used frequently. I am unsure why you are so hung up on that? Do you think because I said Christmas on the rare occasion it means I am religious after all? I mean what is the point you are making exactly, I don't even think you know in all honesty. My point is it is not a religious holiday for me or most others, which is why I use Xmas.
I quote:- ''you could have all the money in the world, but it doesn't make you look any less a fool, who portrays to be right on nearly every topic'' - that is exactly the point, you can never be portrayed being correct and accurate if you are not, in which case the fools are the ones who cannot accept that. Feel free to show me where I am incorrect on the points I am making. You can't, and neither can anybody else and that's why posters like you get your knickers in a twist.
Well for a start I don't believe you are vegetarian, and it wasn't a barb, it was a fact. It doesn't matter where you get your meat from whether it's supermarkets or the free-est of free range farms - red meat and processed meat is a carcinogen. Eating sausages doesn't cause cancer directly, it increases the risk of it. The same as the sun doesn't cause skin cancer directly, it just increases the risk of it. You can get bowel cancer without eating sausages and you can get skin cancer without ever being exposed to the sun - but they are both class A risk factors. Again you should know this, volunteer or not, and especially if trying to preach.

“Why” you would preach is irrelevant and not my concern, it was merely part of my point that you were.
Why was I silly to say sausages cause cancer? It’s a scientific fact. Sausages are one of the most cancerous foods on the planet. 22% of bowel cancers are down to eating sausages, salami and bacon. That is what I meant from the off. Red meat is a group 2 carcinogen - sausages are group 1.
I don’t use Merry Christmas, just like I don’t eat mushrooms. However on the rare occasion you see me eating mushrooms in my food cut up small that I have no idea about then I will naturally eat them. But I still am happy to say I don’t eat mushrooms. If that offends you then you will have to just deal with this one I’m afraid.
It doesn’t matter “in your experience”, I’m talking scientific fact. Whether it’s 90% of skin cancer patients have the disease for their love of sun, 22% of bowel cancer patients have the disease due to their love of sausages or 30% of lung cancer patients have the disease due to their love of cigarettes... ALL of those things are cancerous, preaching about one whilst doing the other is hypocrisy in the extreme. If I was working directly with cancer patients I would ensure I know all there is about the disease, if I was working with cancer patients and preaching to others - I would make doubly sure. Where as you don’t seem to have the first clue.
I’m a superb judge of character hence why I knew when you joined the thread you would have very little to say on the topic because you knew I was right. It irked you. Hence why you have now gone round the houses banging on about every topic under the sun (or sausage in your case) to try it, failing each time.
But I’m glad you seemingly agree, or at least don’t disagree that you cannot illegally take money out of the club like was suggested and I was right in my summary.![]()

You really have no clue on character traits, but I will say Google provides a plethora of information for you to trawl through, easy for even the least educated of mendominated smoke as well now then? I don't study every paper released about cancer,to provide the service I do,however you seem to think I do
as I've said (several times) if you were clearer in the first instance, you would have known sooner that I agree on the processed/red meat correlation, but do you really believe a person in the position of EVERY patient I talk with, should be fed, what is essentially information on how they may have got the disease in the 1st place? Very strange idea indeed
also you say we should extend the life if possible? Really
The aim is quality of life, not f@cking quantity you absolute ignoramus.I will avoid answering any further posts from you,as I wish not to really offend!!!!!! I've learnt one thing about you, which just about sums you up,you put quantity first (money, posts etc etc) I have no wish to converse with you any further, you carry on tanning, and I'll carry on giving my time to the people that matter,in the way I have to date,no studies required

good on you if you can do it,go for it I day, you may well become a chilled out, none judgemental kind of poster,we can only hope, why don't you make a resolution next week,to be a little more contrite in your posts,be honest when the facts show you to be less than truthful on occasion, like the merry Christmas nonsense of saying if you said it once,it was because you were very, very tired, not true is it
you wished all on here a merry christmas,as well as myself, keep deflecting if you want, but it's easier to hold your hand up occasionally, when it's proved you made a fib up of not using the greeting of merry Christmas at all.you could have all the money in the world, but it doesn't make you look any less a fool, who portrays to be right on nearly every topic, look forward to the epitaph on the sala decision from you
no doubt going into every post with a fine tooth comb,IF you are correct of course,or face another 10 pager about how the arbitration process is flawed,if you are wrong.you keep sunbathing,I won't, and furthermore to your eating processed meat barb,I am vegetarian
now go and find a link, that shows me the 1st case of cancer, due to eating sausages
because not all people who do eat meat, get it from supermarkets either, most I know get their meat produce from their local butcher.only people on low incomes suffer the true backlash of processed meat.
but in my 6 yrs at the hospice, never once have I heard a specialist say for sure, sausages have caused this
last thing, try not to make assumptions about a person, without asking a few questions first

First and foremost,I couldn't give a flying monkeys what you believe, and why on earth would I try and"preach " to theof preaching himself
you can roll out all the snippets on any site you like, does not alter the words you were silly to use, such as sausage causes cancer etc etc then, and now use red meats as the risk (should state what you mean from the off
)as for your use of the terminology merry christmas, now it's, tiredness, force of habit etc etc, then don't say you NEVER use the term, when clearly you do,tiredness or other cause
now can we get my work at the hospice into perspective shall we?I act as a liason between patient and their families, have no need for all the knowledge you seem to think regards carcinogens,as I have no role between oncologists/patient,hope that clears another misconception of yours.did I once say red meat or processed foods have NO link? No.from experience to date,99%of skin cancer patients I talk to,have attributed it themselves,to a love of getting brown(too much sun
) but no,I bow to your superior knowledge of the issue
,and have I once doubted your wealth/intellect,specific diet etc ,no again
what is it,because I didn't join the debate a while back? Nah,just because it's my choice, just like it's people's choice if they want to eat animal meat, not my place to try and convert people, just because I've "seen the light" thats more your field
you are not a very good judge of character, even though you believe you are,you can only call somebody a liar, when you are 100% sure.otherwise you look a fool,or just damn rude
merry Christmas, and a happy new year to you oh

Merry Xmas

Interesting scientific, statistical analysis of the correlation between red meat consumption, both processed and unprocessed and the development of cancer.

Correlation between cause and effect is important to determine. Correlation co-efficients determine risk factors.

The thread is satisfaction enough, it will resonate with those it is supposed to. They will know who they are.

No no i insist, we should all aspire to be like you, you are far more superior, more intelligent and far more knowledgeable on football and specifically Cardiff City than anyone else on this board.
I do nothing but admire you.
