Eh? You don’t seem to understand what you have just said, or more importantly what I did.
I’m talking about terrorism done in the name of Shia Islam, that is Islamic terrorism.
If we were talking about Pope Urban II and the Crusades then I would label it Christian Terrorism. But we aren’t, we are talking about the Islamic State of Iran and the terrorism there in the 1980’s directed at non believers including Westerners.
Tony Blair is a political terrorist as his terrorism was done for the benefit of economic prosperity to further his countries strength.
If you are to enter a debate and try to be clever then you really need to know what you are talking about.
Patting of the head in Iran is a traditional sign of mourning it is in no way connected to any form of terrorism despite you trying to paint the Iranian tradition in a bad light. Shame on you by the way for trying that.
Secondly the "ayatollah" as Cardiff fans know it was started by the band UThant. At a gig in Cardiff Uthant band members and their fans did the "ayatollah" Cardiff city fans at the gig picked up on the gesture and did it at an away game the next day, from there on it became a fans favourite. Cardiff fans did not copy it from the funeral scenes.
Despite your best efforts to paint it in a bad light with weak links to terrorism that us Cardiff fans should be ashamed of you've failed.
Eh? Think about what you are saying.
The Ayatollah died, his followers at his funeral rhythmically patted their head in homage. This was screened across the world. Your lot did it at a gig and took it to the stadium. You named it after the bloke and done it ever since.
Are you genuinely trying to make a case that the action you openly call “the Ayatollah” has nothing to do with the Ayatollah it just happens to have the same name as him by coincidence and was nothing to do with the homage paid to him at his funeral it just so happened to start the weeks after it was screened across the world and in fact you were just tapping into Iranian culture.![]()
Give me a break. You named it after the man!

I cant help but admire the way you ignore facts.
I'll explain again, in simple terms, Cardiff city fans did not cone up with the name, Cardiff city fans did not copy it from the funeral as you keep suggesting.
The band UThant chanted at gigs for their fan base to do the ayatollah, when Uthant did their Cardiff gig Cardiff fans saw this firsthand and copied Uthant and their fans.
Cardiff fans did not copy it from the funeral clip it is a made up story after it becane popular, Cardiff fans also didn't name it "the ayatollah" Uthant did.
Hope thats clear enough for you but hey keep peddling your copied from the funeral story its great!

Yep agreed, that’s what I just said, perfectly normal. Using a collective to describe a collective is fine, using a collective to describe a specific is the issue.
So on your multi country holiday, if you were then telling me about someone who threw a pint over your head and threw an onion at you at a bar, and you were telling us that story. You would say the specific place it happened (France, Italy, Germany) and wouldn’t say “someone threw an onion at me in Europe”, you would be more specific and say France because the memory would have an attachment to the place, not the general continent.
You may not agree on the surface but when it comes to you saying such a story, you watch. That’s why it is such a telling trait, you don’t realise you always use specific language for specific memories until you are saying them. But I can spot it a mile off.

I am a big fan of psychology, broad language in specific situations is a key tell when a scenario is made up. These little things people say and do give so much away without people realising, often until it’s too late. Homicide detectives are taught similar things when they interview witnesses and suspects, they can usually tell right away when a story doesn’t sound quite right just from situations like broad language. Memories are usually always specific, especially recent memories, so it’s odd when someone doesn’t use specific language. Stands out a mile.

I didn’t say he lied about his holiday. I said his story is clearly not true, he would describe a specific memory with specific language, especially if recently happened.
As I said, it’s one of the main psychology traits that homicide detectives are trained to look out for. It’s such a give away.

Yes I don’t know how else do describe your posts than seeming like you have your knickers in a twist. You seem to get annoyed a lot when discussing things.
It’s not how I come to conclusions. It’s how the body reacts to the brain lying, it’s how many people come to conclusions using the same rules. Broad language in specific situations is one such method.
The most common one on here is refusing to or the inability to elaborate when asked. Lying releases a chemical which makes your stress levels rise, even if it’s a silly lie. People don’t like elaborating on a lie as it’s uncomfortable to do so, which is why elaboration is often refused. “I don’t have time or the desire to talk, bye troll”... is something we see often on here.

Well your passage of text showed that you need to feel part of a group, dislike to stand out from the crowd and will change your views to fit in. Quite a number of people share that trait, they tend to end up middle of the road in every aspect of life. Not saying that is what describes you, but that passage of text is quite telling.

No you don’t, you are frustrated, as usual. Hence why you got your knickers in a twist.
I didn’t say anything stupid, it’s not my style. In fact I don’t think I have ever said anything stupid at all in all my years on this forum. What you are describing is saying something you were completely unaware of and psychological aspects that went over your head in their description. That’s not stupidity you are looking at, it’s ignorance you are portraying.
I didn’t call someone a liar because I wanted them to be more specific at all. I don’t want people to do anything, I’m just commenting on what I see, not what I want to see. Logic suggests that a German football fan would not know the Ayatollah, this story made even more unlikely by the way it was described, again using language that is completely unnatural to the story.
Hotel names and flight details would also be unnatural and lead me to think someone was telling porkies. Lies on rare occasions can also be over-constructed, but these are usually in pathological liars that don’t mind the discomfort of lying. Happy to help

Not worse, no, Just similarly telling.
Asia was far too vague when saying a specific story, yes. Just like I wouldn’t say I met this guy in Europe, I would say I met this guy in France. Specific memories often compels you to use specific language. When you are relating a memory then you are describing the picture, pictures especially recent ones are rarely vague. When this is used to paint a story of what is a fairly unlikely picture anyway, then you can make a safe bet that it isn’t true and more probing required. Although to compound it, the suspect in this case immediately ruled himself out of follow up questions by falsely stating he doesn’t speak to me. So it was a fairly textbook case of a lie.
Not sure you have understood properly, but I hope so as I have been very patient when explaining what is quite basic knowledge around tells of lies.

I am replying to someone who asked a question, I’m not trying to prove anything. What I have taught you is fact, not opinion. You don’t need to try and prove facts, they are already proven.
A multi suggests I have more than one active username. That’s incorrect, this is my only active username.
But I agree, your attempt at spelling comedy is comedy gold
It’s also comedy gold how furious everyone seemingly is simply by being historically accurate and showing the obvious terrorist links to the Ayatollah. Clearly thrown a few noses out out joint.
