Swansea have not outplayed us we just given them needless confidence by conceding first. Lets hope they regroup at half time as a point is still very winnable which was what I predicted at the start 1 v 1.
Promotion this year? You have to be absolutely joking!

We have been entirely outplayed - both in terms of intensity and skill

Yep by a team devoid of any confidence, time to go Neil, first time I’ve ever said that but we are clearly going backwards. Glatzel is terrible.....get bogle in ffs

No even you have contradicted yourself... you said people’s moods and opinions will be determined by the result... a knowledgeable football fan does not have to wait until the end of the 90 to offer their opinions. Maybe that’s just you who gets swayed by the result rather than giving an objective opinion. I called the way this game would go when the teamsheet was laid. You obviously need a result to decide how we’ve played

This is awful
Offside from a set piece and unable to make 2-passes

After an even start overall, Swansea have shown the better attacking threat, although it took a Cardiff defensive error to concede the only goal so far

It was similar momentarily before the half-time whistle when a corner from the left saw a good Swansea header hit the bar and rebound to be put into the net; thankfully after the flag had already gone up for offside

Neil Warnock will be getting Fergie's hair-dryer out for half-time and there could be a change or two ahead of the second-half

Cardiff City are still in this game and a decent second-half after a poor opening wouldn't be the first of the season

C'mon you Bluebirds; the genuine fans are behind you! :ayatollah:

I've been holding back on this for a while as I like to see where we are after 12 games but we are nothing but a low end mid table side of the Championship and feared before we got relegated last season this is where we will be for the next few seasons.

Being honest about it I prefer us to be here now. For me Warnock will be gone come the end of the season at the very latest. His successor will have a mid championship side ot build on. Hopefully it will be someone who will demand investment to build. It will be very interesting to see what happens.

In the meantime hopefully we will get the goal today to dampen the reality most of us are now accepting.

Ian, as always you make good points that are difficult to disagree with :thumbright:

This thread is about today's game though and currently we are still in it

For the record, as much as like him, I'm not sure the manager will be here for the New Year, if we don't pick up soon and a fresh face (and some different player signings) may come in

This game is just magnifying the dinosaur methods of our manager

Let's get 5 in midfield and hope for a set piece :bluebird:

Problem is the two wingers we are playing are not noted for getting crosses into the box anyway. Only Hoilett gets a decent cross into the box. In any case it's academic we are just being outfought and outplayed by Swansea just lucky we are not further behind.

Win, lose or draw, we can’t keep playing like this. Something gotta give..

Glatzel is a scapegoat, he gets no service at all. Even the aimless long balls are aimed at ward, he hasn’t won any, and he’s done nothing. However, this is what we have become under Warnock. We can’t seem to cross to glatzel, he’s constantly chasing long balls down.

The goal is not just Bennett, it’s ralls as well. Of course ralls gets a huge love in on here so I am surprised it wasn’t glatzels fault according to some.

I agree with much of that but would keep Glatzel on. It is only 1 - 0 and Cardiff City can still get something from this game as it stands

Others think thould they give up now? :?

I think they are better than that; even if some of our so-called supporters (not including Barry Welsh) are seemingly defeatist at half-time

The time to dissect is once the game is over and the final result is actually known!

Then you agree with all of it, it should have been a question mark in my statement re glatzel. I was questioning it not agreeing.

Wow, what I’d do for a Koumas, Bellamy, Chopra, Bothroyd, Ramsey, McCormack type player inspiring our ranks on the pitch right now. We don’t have one player like that and never have , never will under Warnocks reign. Oh hang on, Reid gets 20 plus goals for the carrot crunchers, and doesn’t last 2 minutes with us. Says it all, come on Bluebirds have a go at these Jacks,

We look a different team without Glatzel already since Bogle came on

By far, the slowest, sluggish, ball watching back four I have seen in my 30 years of following us. Not one of them are confident with the ball at their feet. How NML didn’t pick that through ball for Bogle then I’ll never know. Excruciating , come on mun boys. Find something

I’m really struggling to find positives now. Thought sir Neil would sort it out at half time but for me it’s been worse

We are a pub team let us call it as it is, woeful does not begin to describe the abject lack of skills. Some of these players are not footballers full stop.It does make you wonder about how some of these reached professional status???????

Totally abject performance and we are now going backwards.
Our signings smack of a team just going up into the championship not coming down from the PL.
Most players deserve no more than a 4 marking with many on 3.
Vincent time to make a change and start to rebuild and wow the next manager has a job on his hands

NML in the clear and checks back. When we last played in the championship he ran direct to the goal. Very poor

Why is it the first thing we do when we win the ball is to Pump it as far up field as possible.

Hold onto the ball ffs

This is so easy for Swansea its embarrassing

I’m afraid Warnock has to go, he’s done as much as he can, the players don’t look interested, there is no quality and no care, totally abject performance and Swansea fully deserve to win

As bad a performance as I have seen under NW tenure , we could play till tommorow and not score

jacks playing like they're the ones a goal down. we have no fight in us
