I hope so, today is the day, it gets too frantic when you leave everything to the last day, hopefully, we can tie a few up today and announce them tomorrow and get back on with the preparation for a big game on Saturday

I'm surprised he's there myself. They usually send club reps. That's what makes me think it's more than one player. My mate works there sent me a pic but can't say who it is.
But his job is involved with actually meeting them.

In your own opinion, is he a good signing on the face of it?

Reports say he is very fast but his goal scoring ability is highly questionable. Yes he did score 10 for Luton but they were in the old fourth division. He only managed 1 in 23 for Birmingham. Who is he meant to replace. Is he to be a third choice after Murphy and Whyte? We have not even given Whyte a proper go yet. To me it seems like a bizarre singing, a squad filler in a position we don't actually need a squad filler. Why don't we go for Usain Bolt he is even faster and won't score as well.

He is a striker you say? I asummed he wasn't a striker due to the fact he had only scored 1 goal in 23 games for Birmingham. But that makes it even worse. To start with Warnock only plays with one striker and he has to be a big lump as we will be lumping the ball up to him hence the six foot four German, isn't this guy about five foot seven. So if he is a striker not a winger he will presumably be fifth choice behind in any order Glatzer,Bogle,Madine and Reid. Warncok never plays two up front and if he did we would Want some Glatzer/Reid/Bogle combination. With four strikers on the book do we really need a fifth when we only play one up front?

He was injured for the whole of last season and most of his appearances are as a sub, coming back from injury. Bogle or Ward will surely be sole or loaned out. Midfield should be the priority though
Who needs Cantona, when we’ve got Stantona?

No thank you. Like going in the sandwich shop just before they close and all they have on the shelf is cheese & pickle so you take it because you're hungry not because you want it. Birmingham will be rubbing their hands at the thought of getting £3 million for him.

What a great analogy. Sums it up perfectly. And we already have a couple of cheese and pickle sandwiches which will cost us nothing.

The obvious question: is Vassell any better than what we have at the moment? I would suggest not by the look of it. May have potential but to date has done nothing with spells at Luton & Birmingham. Clearly injury prone so I assume that Birmingham will be rubbing their hands with the sale of Vassell for a decent fee. Hope I am proved wrong if he does arrive but would have preferred an improvement on what we already have if we are going for another striker. Strikes me that he is similar to Bogle, but is he any better?

My thoughts exactly. Gatzel Cleary guna my first choice. So is vassall better than bogle And ward?
Personally I think we should be spending every penny on a play maker cm.

Scott Hogan was available on a loan but gone to Stoke plus the young Arsenal striker who looks like going on loan to Bristol.

I'm surprised he's there myself. They usually send club reps. That's what makes me think it's more than one player. My mate works there sent me a pic but can't say who it is.
But his job is involved with actually meeting them.

Why more ambition ? Just because they've sighned players who could fail miserably! It's not necessarily the quality its whether they fit in with team and tactics half players mentioned wont fit in at city on both counts
