I’m not so sure.
He will have to drop his salary by a huge amount and then there’s the fact that he didn’t score a single goal whilst here.
Yes, he may well become good playing in a league lower but for 10mill it’s a no for me.

I was only joking

No way of knowing that.

Did you see him play? Thought it would have been pretty obvious

Yes I saw him play.
Impossible to tell if you were joking as others like him and would take him.

I don't think it matters what league he's in, he has no composure in front of goal. I don't get the argument that he'd do well in the championship. Can't fault his work rate but no thanks.

Hes not a striker hes better in an attacking midfield position

This transfer would obviously go before the committee and at a guess a £10m fee plus £55kpw wages for a non-scoring striker is unlikely to sound viable.

In either position we are not going to pay £10m along with wages of £55kpw. We already have good attacking midfield options.

Why? For his exquisite range of passing and faultless distribution? He's not proved he is any use with his back to goal or facing the opposition goal. His only asset I can value is his willingness. Top end championship sides need a bit more than just willingness, even in a warnock pattern of play. If his loan terms set out a £10 million buy option that was with both Everton and us assuming he would have scored a goal or two. Worth a fraction of that now but not even sure I would at £5 million or even less. As for wages, has he proven he is any better than Madine and how much less is his wage?

Wouldn't argue with that at 10m

If you look at alot of his ball play it's on the left side . He has the ability to take players on but hes pretty much always been the last man so I couldn't say about his passing to much.

All I know is he cant score

I agree on the price it's way out

We havent see if his passing is decent as he was mostly the last man

He can definitely get passed players and is pretty good at it

He cannot score though !!

I think we all agree he can't score! I've not seen any evidence his link up play is up to the mark either and if he can't make a five yard pass I don't expect that he can make many good 20 yard passes to make a case for an attacking midfield role. Bobby Reid has that role and we can't waste a fee and wages. Never thought I'd say it but Madine a better bet than Niase up top in the championship and we've already spent the money on him anyway.

Ironic how we have the option to sign a player who contributed nothing, yet we had two decent midfielders without that option? Why’s that then? Maybe because no one wants one if them..... :old:

Madine has scored championship goals and we already have him so no gamble and won't cost anything more. Niasse would be a poor signing for us at this point. Priority has to be midfield. Sort that then we can look at other positions
