Paterson booked
He loses the ball on the edge of the area after a decent ball over the top of the Arsenal defence towards Reid.
Paterson tries to win it back but clatters into Lichtsteiner. Yellow card.

Impressed so far. Good work rate. Seem up for it. Niasse hasn't stopped running, same with Reid who should've scored! Lets not concede a silly goal now like we usually seem to!

Cardiff win a corner out on the left. It’s whipped in by Ralls but Arsenal smuggle it behind for a corner that eventually comes to nothing. Cardiff have done well in winning set pieces tonight, but haven’t yet had the clincal edge needed to convert chances into goals.

Much better. Great half of football from us. Seems a good balance of defence and attack. Paterson winning everything in the air. Reid working his socks off and Niasse very impressive. Defence solid.
Disappointed with Arsenal right back fouling every time we seem to break down there.

Both teams have wasted chances and will feel they could lead. Niasse and Reid have been excellent up front for Cardiff, who have produced one of their best halves of the campaign so far, and that’s no exaggeration.”

Happy with niasse so far. Lacking some sharpness but getting in to some good positions

Niasse ,such a difference with a forward who is mobile and linked up well with Reid.
Hope Niasse can last the 90 mins

Feeling immensely proud of that first half performance, just need to continue it into the second half.

Best we’ve played for a long time.
We should be winning.

Why she doesn’t start more particularly at home I don’t know
