Trying to put a positive slant on it, Neil Warnock said "This lad I want we wouldn’t have been able to afford him" and "I didn’t feel we could get this lad..." which is different to "cannot" or "don't" but it seems that may have changed and the cub are at least trying

Does this refer to Lewis Grabban or some other player?

Who knows at this point but I'm hoping it means the club are prepared to push the boat out a little for the manager to get his man!

Bournemouth winger Lewis Grabban looks to be in demand this January, with Cardiff CIty one of several clubs reportedly interested in completing a move.

However, they may well have been pipped to the post by Championship promotion rivals and runaway leaders Wolves.

According to the Birmingham Mail, talks have already begun over a deal to bring the winger, currently on loan at Sunderland, to Molineux.
