I will say it again

Pompey,Leeds,Villa,Sheffield United,Sheffield Wednesday, Bradford Ciy, etc etc not had years of glory(recently) and had bad times now for years, in fact they have had worse times than us recently and they've recently been in lower divisions.

Out of curiosity does this include the Old First Division?

Also the other day, I posted on here showing the last 15 years regarding the Top 14 clubs home crowds and many had had way worse years than us.

its all time so yes..but it seems a bit more than a coincidence.
i dont think 15 years is near long enough to judge on ...our fans ALL know what happened in 1927...we have had flags t shirts all sorts to remember it..a statue for something that happened before any of us were thought of.and you yourself beat the history /tradition drum as loud as anyone..you werent talking about a convienient 15 year period were you.?

Jacks have just had 8 years in the Premier League & still there, this is a recent example, where's their bigger support?

180 Jacks away watching Swansea away at Everton.

no matter what topic. you can always find something that bucks the trend...
yes as previously said Swanseas away support was very poor Monday night.....but 1 single example does not in anyway outweigh years and years of facts of the opposite
or does the following example make both Arsenal and Leeds mickey mouse clubs...?
top tier game....THE Leeds fan is the one in the trilby

It’s my job to do that pal.

You will be surprised how many are walking away know they not even bothering to go to games typical jack support when the ships start to get into trouble they jump I bet you they are putting ther United and Liverpool shirts back on

Facts 9 0ut the 10 top supported clubs in the championship are the ones who have historically spent more seasons in the top flight than the lesser supported clubs only Norwich and Bolton buck that trend.

Think there is just a lot of big clubs in the championship these days, historically and size wise. Leeds, Sheffield’s, forest, Norwich, Ipswich, villa, boro maybe, Sunderland, bolton, wolves. Some small clubs that are more likely to be in league 1 have made it up there, not really established yet and if they fall won’t really retain big support, look at Blackpool and Wigan for good ie, soon to be joined by the welsh Wigan..... :occasion5:

Immediately the rebrand was announced I stopped going having supported the club since 1975.simple for me what I bought into "the bluebirds" wasn't there anymore.

And I personally 100% Respect you for it :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

As the first season of the Rebrand went on, more and more diehards I know stopped going, while others joined me at meeting after meeting, many with our club and protests. :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Wiigan by no stretch of the imagination are a big club...but they have retained some of the extra prem support..
their average attendance last season { a relegation season } was still larger than any average prior to going up to the prem..

Wigan are a very small club and have never had good support home or away.
I'm sure Wigan never joined the League till the 70's?
