We get less than Scotland and Northern Ireland based on need thanks to the barnet formula, something Europe helped out by giving us far more than we gave them, but some idiots decided to vote out

I'm one of the idiots but that's because remainers are better educated. I mean if someone's got a degree in contemporary Dance they're better qualified to make a political decision than a retired company director like me.

I will be voting conservative for the first time in this general election because of idiots like her.

Also the more I think about it I honestly believe the conservatives would do a better job than labour if they were in charge of the Welsh assembly.

Same here Wez, I voted UKIP last election and labour previous to that.

The Conservatives are going to make massive gains in South Wales, hopefully it will be enough to change the mindset of people in Wales that they don't have to vote Labour because they always have.

Admittedly I can't defend Abbot and Corbyn but anyone who thinks the Conservatives will look after the people of South Wales is deluded.

They will in time take away hard earned employment rights and finish the job of dismantling the NHS and Welfare State. Don't be surprised that by the time you retire there is no state pension of any meaning for you to live on. They are only interested in the rich and everyone else is there to be exploited.

Absolute nonsense, in my lifetime there's been 7 Conservative PMs yet we still have a brilliant NHS, do you think the PFI brought in under Labour is good for the NHS. In synopsis Labour get in create millions of non jobs in the Public Sector bankrupt the economy, Tories get back in power and spend most of their time making cuts to try and get the economy back on an even keel, while the Corbyns, McDonnell s and Abbotts squwack from the sidelines. Labour want to spend ,spend,spend and let our children and grandchildren pay for it. Incidentally under Labour the NHS had more administrators than nurses.

So during this period of many Tory governments that you refer to they were in no way responsible for ensuring your children and grand children will have to work for longer than we can ever imagine ? Or is that purely down to the sporadic, evil Labour governments !?

Come on, get real. The Tory policies are not working. They can't even achieve their own economic growth targets yet refuse to consider a different approach.

Aside from basket cases like Greece, etc., no other developed economies have adopted such a stringent austerity program yet we're the slowest in coming out of the downturn ???

It's easy to reduce deficits by hitting easy targets like low paid public sector, NHS, etc. But that merely reduces the standard of living yet whilst Labour were in charge that standard of living improved massively and ultimately isn't that what we all want ? Budget deficits are nothing new under Tory or Labour. They go up, they go down depending on the worldwide economy,at times like this perhaps using that "overdraft" is worth using ?

We're the slowest coming out of the downturn.........that's why migrants are flocking to work here.
In simple terms, people are living longer so even the hard of thinking could work out the retirement age had to go up. The elephant in the room for decades has been Public Sector pensions.
