Tan has made some huge mistakes during his time probably his biggest was investing in us but people have such short memories!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 898206.stm

Simple fact without Tans money there wouldn't be a Cardiff City FC.

Am I suprised we're in so much debt... Absolutely not!!! Football is the biggest gamble going!!! Yes we've had huge amounts of income from the prem etc. Guess what come with that!!! Huge amounts of out goings on wages, bonus etc. Look at Pompey!! Leeds & Sheffield Wed have taken years to get back and they're much bigger clubs than us. If you go up and don't make the right decisions with the right manager it's always possible to be in our situation.

Sorry for the massive rant, Tan is to blame for a lots of mistakes and his biggest was the rebrand. He has however, had to pay for that with 100s of Millions of his own money where as all of our other crooked owners have made a tidy buck out of us and they were all happy for us to go to the wall.

Who knows maybe Tan will do the same but until that day and even with the horrendous rebrand I will still hold him with more respect than owners who put us on the brink of nonexistence just so they could line their pockets!!

because of the red I find it very, very hard to let that go - all the other points you make are extremely valid. I appreciate I am being a bit self-indulgent maybe about the red, but boy that hurt in a way I still can't rationally explain frankly. All I can say is that it did - yes let's move on, and I was never one to boycott or anything like that (never had a red bit of merchandise obviously).

anyhow, for me atm the football is a welcome distraction as we are actually playing some under Warnock :ayatollah:

Totally agree with you mate. My pipe dream from when I was 6 in the old division 3 was to one day see us in the prem and that was ruined by the rebrand. I didn't even enjoy my dream coming true but the fact is I'm not naive to think there was a queue of potential buyers when the club was about to be wound up! Tan saved the club that day simple!

With Warnock it's starting to feel like the old club again, were in our blue, we've got a few fan favorites in Bamba and Gunner, we've now found a goal scorer and even all the debt is familiar!!! Like you said time to move on and enjoy the football!!! Hopefully see some kids get a chance when we're mathematically safe.

That Rebrand was the worst anyone could ever do to your club,in my opinion it was like losing your club.

Well Said I second that :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Maybe but you can always reverse a rebrand!!

If it wasn't for Tan and because of our previous owners we would have lost over a 100 years of history. We would also be entertaining Afan Lido at home this weekend instead of Birmingham and our name would be Cardiff United!!

We had three years of heartache and my worst three years of supporting the club I love, easy for some like you, but not for others like me and I have still not got over it and we should be respected in how we feel.

Like I previously said it's not easy for me as my dream in following the city was turned into a nightmare. This was also true when Sam and the Riddler were in charge. I genuinely thought I wouldn't have a local team to support anymore!

All I'm arguing is that Tan has to be recognised for saving the club as well as his disasters. Just like Sam needs to be recognised for lighting the fire in the club and then nearly destroying our club. It is what it is! As fans we really have been dragged through it. It's never borring following the city. Fingers crossed for a bright future now where Tan keeps his promise and turns us debt free and Warnock delivers prem Football in blue! Seems a pipe dream but so was us playing prem football 30 years ago!
