Malky was not a yes man and brought nothing but success to City and the revenue he brought in far far outweighs what he spent :thumbright:

Now we have Warnock not a yes man and is bringing nothing but success to City, will be very very interesting to what happens come May/June??

You seriously putting Gabbidon and Young in the same bracket as them managing only 3 games? :?

Slightly unfair.

Malky Mackay, fool. and as for people saying he bought is success ,NO Mr Tan bought us success , dire dire boring football.
Hope by working with younger people he will gain some respect back which in all honesty HE blew.
Better no say too much as the banning wand will come out.

Why are the people who are so supportive of Malky, not as vocally supportive of Moody too?

He was instrumental in the transfer process under McKay, and was sacked for similar reasons.

Not sure how anybody can overlook his text messages. He racially abused one of his direct employees, and the clubs owner. In what walk of life would anybody escape those type of actions, without dismissal? I'd be amazed if any!

Oh dear Jules. how many teams and managers have spent far far more than malky did and can't even get in the play offs? We all know money isn't everything in this league. Malkys achievments are unquestionable, regardless of whether you dislike him.

He didn't racially abuse anyone. He sent a private message with a joke in it. You can argue about the taste of the joke but he didn't abuse anyone.

"Go on, fat Phil. Nothing like a Jew that sees money slipping through his fingers!!!"

And
"Fkn chinkys.’

‘Fk it. There’s enough dogs in Cardiff for us all to go around."

Some would argue bad taste, some would say racist. Either way, you cannot say those type of things about your employees and professionals within the sport, on works phones and get away with it; not in any industry.

Football would probably be the only industry you could have a career after comments like that, and not even football clubs want to touch him or Moody.

Re: " Sad to see Malky Mackay "

I honestly can't get my head around the fact that people seem to forgive or even forget the disgusting racial behaviour Malky displayed, the large sums of money he spent (tans money) and the ongoing dodger dealings he was involved with. But can't forgive tan for the rebrand. (Yes a big mistake).

Yes I appreciate what Malky did in getting us promoted, but I also appreciate how much tan has done for us financially.

Totally hypocritical from the Malky lovers.

How come nobody seems to want him? I'm pretty sure most football clubs are not going to pay much attention to Tan given his reputation as being a bit eccentric to say the least. If there is nothing in any of this, he is obviously not rated highly as a manager. I have no idea what went on, but I doubt if owners of British clubs are not employing him without good reason.

Noting to back it up ...... remove you're head from Malky's arse. It's pretty clear what he's done.

By the way I'm not dissing Malky. I'm just saying as I see it. He was a great Manager for us but he got found out for being racist and is still being investigated for the dodgey dealings. Simple as that.

Does he deserve a 2nd chance .... absolutely! But so does Tan.

Re: " Sad to see Malky Mackay "

Thu Feb 23, 2017 8:05 pm

He hasn't been in a managers job since 2015 and there's perfectly good reasons for that, if Malky is all innocent how has he gone 2 years without getting a job as manager? Tan's a lunatic of an owner so why are people taking is word for it on Malky? Answer's on a postcard.

What a waste of a Talented manager, to all the people who have a go at him for being a racist, look your self in the mirror, and can you honestly say you have never done/said/joked about things you shouldn't have ? He made a mistake, who hasn't ? :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Everyone has their opinion on that matter but you have to think he has gone almost 2 years without a managerial job so explain that?

You simply cannot make racial jokes about an agent and one of your own players, on the clubs mobile phone. Yes, he deserves a second chance, but it was also right to sack him. He blew his opportunity at Cardiff.

Left under a cloud created by the vindictive Tan man, still receiving parachute payments from MMs success, it was OGS who took us down, had MM stayed with few January signings probably still be in the prem, instead the vindictive one let a no hoper totally f*ck us up!

Yep we were flying high up the table when tan got rid of Malky!!

I thank him for getting us to the Prem and to a cup final but in the end the man was a fraud and made a fool of the fans.

Re: " Sad to see Malky Mackay "

Thu Feb 23, 2017 9:49 pm

In my mind Tan has done nothing for us apart from give us the worst time in our history. I don't even recognise our existence in the Premiere league as it wasn't us. Yes I went to the games but I went to protest. And when we lost and got relegated did it hurt ? Like fook did it. Will never forgive Tan. As for Malky I was always a bit cricital of his tactics but I do believe he would of kept Tans red in the Premiere but only just.
Warnock is head and shoulders above Malky IMO. But the question for me was Malky a racist ? He sent some private texts and if we all had our phones history hacked then would we all be whiter than white ?

i thought the racist stuff was discovered a long time after he got sacked . just before he dropped the 7 million unfair dismisal case against the club and apologised.?

Dodgy transfer business Acorn of course and played the victim and made Tan look the bad guy when it was actually him in the wrong with the racist texts and we were heading for the bottom 3 anyway.

Come off it, 1 away in 3 months and like 3/4 home wins.. yeah staying up we was with Malky in charge.
