Nah, there's a bit of banter and there's being belittled and people are taking the piss out of him.

I like a bit of banter with Wez but when you got someone following you around the forum trying to pick an argument and belittling you it's gone too far.

I agree with the sentiment of keeping on topic in a thread. But Wez has got what was coming to him, on a sensitive issue. It's not like name calling was to good for him either!? Put the fella on ignore if it's a problem. Me included. But I will say my mind on the issue, no doubt about that. The crying and leaving will get no sympathy from me..

Fecking nugget just do one already

I disagree with most things wez says on here but I quite like the guy but why he engages with this idiot is beyond me. Why he should feel bullied and leave I don't understand either but it's his choice.

I believe the mods keep him on here because of the hits the forum makes.

It's plain to see the same posters who engage with him on every thread who end up getting angry and wound up and then complaining. Why?, I have no idea.
Just do as I and most others do on here, ignore the loon and just carry on the thread without him. It's quite simple really!

to be honest the whole forum has gone down hill, no offence to its owner or creator or whoever keeps it going, but on more than one occasion I have seen people ask a serious question and then have half the members come down on them. even happened to me a few years ago, asked a question about adverts on the site, and had members like Annis accuse people like me of having agendas. also a lot of the stuff posted on here these days just seems to be a "Copy and paste" job from sites like bbc and wales online, both I usually check before even coming on here. and with no more carls updates and stuff kind of feel like most topics are a piss take without a proper debate (except the political ones) and when someone shares a serious opinion the conversation either stops or it continues to be a piss take.

Every day I do two of my own topics of my opinions etc and make debate, then get accused of just looking for hits?? ?
All because i don't follow in line and stand by my own opinions and always will do :thumbright: :thumbright:

Of course there is plenty of copy and paste as well, as I get every bit of news i can find.

As to Carl, he has been promoted in work and has family time now,so can only come on here on match days.

The amount of football fans viewing have gone up for the 8th year running and two days about 240,000 views this site had in 24hrs,so we must be doing something right, we can't please everyone and in life you never will.

For the 160th time and i mean 160th time Roathie has been banned, but to be honest why should we be looking at all his posts, those who want to argue with him do of their own accord and when they lose the debate they call for him to be banned. Well why not just ignore him :thumbright:

I see some good debates on here, but sorry you don't,can't please everyone as I said.

Sorry you don't like the forum anymore.

Right this seems an ideal thread to say.
On Wednesday just gone I got irate over a post which looking at this thread can happen, I said some things which on reflection were totally OTT and would like to apologise to Annis in particular but also anyone else that I may have offended.

once again apologises.

Annis I wasn't having a go at you, and wasn't saying you are looking for hits. I didn't mention hits above, in regards to the copy and paste its not that I find them annoying its the fact that on more than one occasion I have seen things posted which have been copied and pasted for example off walesonline. and usually the whole thing has about 4 parts which all repeat themselves, rather than it broken down.

if im being honest, I have no idea who roathie is, or what hes done, I seen people on here comment saying about a different poster "its Roathie" I have no idea what they are talking about so I dont think you will find me mention him on any of my posts.

the carl part i just felt that added a bit of excitement and (buzz?) around the site, for whats going to be revealed, but now that's no more, i feel we need something to i wouldn't say look forward to but to, but something (i know i said i wouldn't say it but) to look forward to.

lastly its not that I dont like the forum, I just feel its not as good as it used to be, and im sorry if that offends, but theres been several topics which state things like "things we can do to improve the forum" and if im being honest I haven't seen anything different.

Im sure you can only come back if you have been away?

There is no problem here anyway, if you want a debate then great, if you don't then don't have one. But the needless abuse because you cannot debate is what derails threads. Refrain from that and we will have a cracking forum. :thumbright:

Correct

Annis thread about Warnocks backing was proof of this yesterday.

Not happy he was tearing into Wez on one thread he starts laying the bait for him in another bringing muslims and religion into it knowing Wez will bite. Even when he tried to remain on topic he couldnt help but bring the Jacks into it looking for bites.

Its easy to say "Oh just ignore him" but when hes completely ruining and derailing what was a decent thread then its impossible not to. Decent posts were getting lost on previous pages because of the tit for tat and quoting each other on something that was totally irrelevant to the topic.

Anyway ive wasted enough time talking about this cretin im joining Wez on the sidelines for a bit.

I agree with you on the whole there Annis. But what I will say is you, I (and any other sensible person) understands that tye problems are coming from the same old people. The ones that enter athread they see my name in with the intention if arguing rather than debating. Due to my viewpoints being largely fact based, they don't have that much manoeuvrability to argue with it, hence they last a post or 2 before slipping into slanging matches again. We both agree they should put me on ignoreif they cannot control themselves.

The issue being is when someone does fold to peer pressure and bans me (which really is a pointless excercise btw) thise that have put the old username on ignore and also those that just actively stay out of that usernames topics, no longer have me on ignore and have to get used to a whole new username. It is far easier for everyone if I stick to one and those that wish to ignore can do. Those that do not out me on ignore don't really have grounds for complaint.

Don't be silly. You are one of the worst for it on here, you give it out and then cry and run off when you get bruised :D

I entered the thread yesterday making a valid point (one which Annis stated he wanted to use as the basis for one of his stickies) wez responded with an insult (this is always the start of the derailment) and I responded with an off topic remark in return (which i later aknowledged and apologised for) but the insult always comes first.

You are a drama queen of the highest order with a massive chip on your shoulder. You are also one of the main posters that enter a debate purely to derail and insult. As soon as someone calls you out for being a moron you run to the hills either to the mods or if that doesn't work, pretend to leave for the 19000th time in the hope someone will say "no polo, come back" :laughing6:

As I have told you, debate properly withiut insult and we will all get on fine. But people (you included) can't. So don't cry off because you can't control yourself. Thats your issue, nobody elses.

At end of day no one particularly care when people leave as annis as said user participation as increased so no problem losing odd one every now and again no matter for what reason! But do have to laugh he's back saying same old things but thats life on this forum. At least it keeps him happy. :laughing6:

People need to grow up and realise there are people who may dare I say disagree with you.

Some on this site thing their opinion is the only one valued and you disagree with them and they start with the insults
I have piss poor come backs and the best they will come up with is the persons spelling.

I think politics should not be on this site or have another forum under the board index to discuss other items and change
the general chat to Football only chat.

I understand TRump is a big issue to some people but personally I would come on here to discuss Cardiff City or football to get away from it

It is easy to say ignore him, and it's easy to do aswell. It's the people who are now replying to him who are just as guilty for derailing threads as roathie himself.

what I'm getting a bit fed up of is one article from BBC being chopped up and turned into 4 threads. The mods just used to pot the whole article.

His latest name was registered on 15th Jan so he's prepared in advance for when he gets banned!! Cannot legislate for someone as sad as he is using this forum to obviously fill a void in his life? I've learned not to answer his posts but it's not always that simple as people have found out! But do feel he should be banned ASAP when he appears on here just to keep threads on track as for whatever reason when he's involved it goes tits up without exception!
