That's ok then, we have established that this is an opinion rather than someone having access to inside information that is not available to all the other forum users. I expect everyone has their own opinions, some that may be the same as yours and some that will differ. Perhaps now is a good time to actually continue with the topic of this thread, which relates to a striker we have at the club who may be surplus to requirements.

An opinion based on facts yes. I was continuing the topic in fact, before some on here as usual got so defensive. The topic is the poor signing of Lambert and now the cost of having him. My point digs deeper than just this specific player, as if the issue isn't addressed then this time next year you will be talking about another player in this situation, and the year after, and the year after. The issue is not the signing of Lambert but the lack of long term play which leads to such short term signing like Lambert.

This forum is all about opinions, but that does'nt make your opinion any more valid than anyone elses. You may be right, you may be wrong, it is just one person's opinion. Tan may well have a long term plan, and part one may be to stay in the Championship in the short term. The appointment of Warnock may be part of that short term objective, and who knows if this is part of a 5 year plan or if his plans do not actually stretch further than the end of the season. I am sure there are plenty of clubs in similar situations.
An opinion based on most probable scenarios and factual events yes. But an opinion all the same. I am not saying Cardiff is different to most clubs please don't be so defensive. What I am saying is, to stop all this uncertainty the club needs to be build from the ground up. For too long the club have looked at short term goals (Hasselbaink, Fowler era, season ticket scam to spend on players the club couldn't afford to signing aging managers and players of today). To get the crowds buzzing again the pn everybody needs to be clear the direction the club is going. Nathan Blake agreed and said a similar thing on the radio last week. There just doesn't seem to be any tangiable long term thinking.
nice avatar . your common sense just like your head is in the clouds

So you believe signing the likes of Lambert is a long term plan then? As is changing managers and playing styles frequently?... Or are you just being silly due to whom you believe said the opposite?

This thread is not about Swansea please keep it on topic. Although if you are talking about Leroy Fer, he has been one of the bright points of the Jacks season so far.

Another good signing, much better than Taylor and played a big part in the win away at Anfield.

in fairness to the player i dont think our style suited him under Trolls and certainly dont under Warnock.
i just hope that maybe one of the sides going for promotion or play offs fancy him as cover like Bournemouth did with KJ, even a loan till end of season would free up some cash
