We were the 3rd lowest last season with 800 average, there's no getting away from that but in our defence that number would be about 2-300 higher if we hadn't had the amount of ridiculous night games up North we seem to get lumbered with season after season not to mention our games and kick off times getting moved around.

This season we have taken just under 2,000 to Birmingham, 6-700 to Rotherham at a time we were really doing shit, 1500-1600 to Burton Albion which whilst it was a new ground isn't close by any means, Not far off a 1.000 to Newcastle followed by 2.500 to Villa a couple of weeks later, we took over 1,000 to Brentford for a ludicrous early kick off on Boxing Day and were taking 600+ down to Brighton 4 days later for another ridiculously moved Friday night game.

Fast forward two weeks and we take over 2,000 to Bristol City for another game that's had its kick off time moved and are on course to take another 2,000 to Reading only 2 weeks after that.

It's not all bad is it :ayatollah:

This seasons Cardiff away support
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=142949 :bluebird:

Rotherham was 385 the worst supported team their this season, Burton 1,210 second lowest away support this season, Newcastle away 840 and most teams average their is 2,500.
I honestly think we have lost our big away support, I looked and its still not coming back in big numbers, we do have a problem.

You say ridiculous away time at Brentford/Bristol City its happening to there clubs, Norwich went to Bristol City over Xmas, 5.30pm and live on sky and still took more.

We've always had bad kick offs on Boxing day, when fans want to go they will go.

748 our average support away was last season and Bolton who got hammered virtually every week and were rock bottom had an average away support of over 900 fans, they even took more away than us to Norwich and Ipswich.

Burnley away 3pm on a Saturday,to win our biggest trophy for over 50 years,No restrictions, pay on the day, 3,000 tickets and we sold less than 1,500, I was shocked.

Most other teams get dicked around on KO times too. We just seem to sob when bristol KO is at noon when it's an hour away. No matter how you explain it, our support is third worst in the league! Which means for all the big attendances you just names almost every other team is taking more!

Jack, we make excuse after excuse, yet we never when Man United were away on a Tuesday night and Man City away in the same week and Arsenal away on New Years day.

He's actually spot on there :thumbright: :bluebird: and funny they all afforded the Premier League, even four away games in January, sold three of them out,two games at £50 a ticket.

The shit that comes on here for excuses as why our away support has gone crap is unbelievable.

You support your club no matter how bad times on the pitch are :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Is it pay on the gate? If it is, do you need fan numbers to buy on the gate?
