1-0 Burton
Great finish.

Too easy
A ball is lofted towards the Cardiff box.
It drops for Irvine, who gets to the second ball too easily.
The finish is tidy, though, into the bottom corner.
Amos helpless.

Come on City!

Trollope out!

City fans silenced

Lambert has been playing bare chested for about five minutes.
He finally gets it changed.

Has to be P45 for Trollope if we get nothing out of this (which I sadly think will be the case).
I strongly believe he's the main reason we're misfiring so badly. CLUELESS.

It is all down to him. Guaranteed defeat after defeat. We are relegated already.

Much better as Lex Immers wins the ball in a clean tackle.
Noone races onto it, dances past his man before the covering defender knocks it out for a corner.
The keeper flaps at the corner and is lucky his defence can clear.

I just don't get it, between one season where we finished in 8th and the next where we're flitting about the relegation zone, there's been relatively little change at the club and yet the same group of players (minus Marshall which was obviously a big loss) is performing so badly week in, week out. It's exasperating and it just doesn't make any sense.
What worries me is that the only major change has been Trollope but I don't want to point the blame only at him. Here's hoping we see some changes soon for the better...

After watching Tuesdays performance I expected a quick resignation from trollope. If we lose today which is looking more likely tan needs to do his job as owner and sake of a new manager having time to turn around what looks like relegation under trollope....

Trollope believes the team, fans are all backing him

Ward’s free-kick from about 30 yards is well, well over.
Burton are revelling in the conditions, so quick to the second ball.
That early goal suits their gameplan down to the ground.

Deluded at best

Bruno Manga heads wide from Whittingham's corner kick.
Sat Oct 01, 2016 2:27 pm
Better.
Whitts runs at goal at lashes a shot from the edge of the area.
Keeper palms it wide.
Sat Oct 01, 2016 2:28 pm
McFazdean strides forward but is hounded off the ball by Bluebirds.
They break so quickly and Noone is in.
His shot is deflected just wide, agonisingly dribbling wide of the far post.

Reading these updates is completely different to listening to the Radio Wales commentary !!
Even Mr Negative, Kevin Radcliffe, is saying how well City are playing and don't deserve to be down
Sat Oct 01, 2016 2:33 pm
Penalty appeal turned down. Noone goes down under a challenge from Turner, goal kick given. (1-0)
Sat Oct 01, 2016 2:35 pm
A good period of pressure here from City.
Moving the ball nicely and Burton are invariably giving it straight back.
Can they force an equaliser?
Sat Oct 01, 2016 2:38 pm
- Whittingham free kick nodded on by Lambert, but McLaughlin gathers before Morrison can divert towards goal. (1-0)
Sat Oct 01, 2016 2:41 pm
HT approaching and Cardiff are seeing most of the ball as the rain picks up again.
Burton, though, look lively on the counter, particularly with Dyer and Akins in the wide areas.
McFazdean’s effort from a corner takes a nick and just flies over.

McFadzean's shot inside the box deflects over the bar for a corner!

HT Burton 1-0 Cardiff
Irvine’s sweet strike gives the Brewers the advantage at HT>

We can't keep blaming bad luck, yes we had chances but we did not put ours away as usual and Burton put their one away as other clubs do.
Fed up of everyone saying bad luck and and bad refs etc etc
You make your own luck
