A club like us would be suitable for him. :thumbright: :ayatollah:

yeah cos we are just like Man Utd, the club he spent his whole career at

No we are a suitable club for him to properly start off his managerial career. :ayatollah:

Do you honestly think that's a risk worth taking? I sometimes feel that 1-2 club players may not have a great understanding of the differences between leagues, fans & Chairman and professionalism. In some respects, these players have lived sheltered lives and not very adaptable to change, and in Neville's case, very little knowledge in how to handle bad results managing average players.

I would suggest G.Nev go a lot further down the ladder like JFH did. JFH also played football under a variety of different conditions. AND, yes, I have drunk too much coffee this morning :laughing6: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

I think that's what Neville should do work his way up rather than jumping immediately in the deep end like what Ole did.

He needs to be able to handle average players and get a tune out of them, His mentor Sir AF certainly got a tune out of Aberdeen players. G.Nev would make a lot of mistakes at Cardiff, we need someone who is ready, or, somebody who knows the club & fans. G.Nev may come in under a barrage of publicity, talk about how tough the Champ is, but he's only watched it on TV like us + never managed average players before

Who knows how well he would cope managing in the champ but I think that's where he should go and start to manage or the lower leagues than going straight into the Prem.

Thinking outside the box....

well his contract ends on 30th may. and it seems it has not yet been renewed, perhaps he is waiting till the next 2 games are over.

Havent read all of this thread so i dont know if he's been mentioned but i would seriously consider Eddie Newton! Worked along side some top managers and is probably just waiting for some1 to give him a break. Cult hero down here aswell for anyone who can remember. Young, been in and around the business long enough. Lack of experience is better than no experience

Not a bad suggestion.
Certainly worth an interview
