Just so you know,the ones shouting for Tan on here,loudly are the minority,because if they were right, We would not have lost 12,500 season ticket holders in less than than 2 years and barely 10,000 in actual attendance on Sat.
Our home crowds most week are now in the bottom 2 or 3 and our away support in the bottom 5 of the Championship and that really hurts to see

As to the Debt.

When Sam left the debt £30 mill with assets worth more than that,when the Riddler left it was about £63mill,then during the Tan reign of 6 years the debt got between £150mill to £160mill including destroyinag the Soul of our club and its fan base

But I believe it now could be as low £70-£80mill after 6 years of running our club, so in fact we are still worse off and have a fan base smashed to pieces,which what ever way Wez will turn it,the facts are there when you go to home and away games following City.


That's my last word on the matter.

The ground last Saturday 30 mins in to the game.

But if the assets were worth more than the debt why did Sam leave?

There were no way more assets than debt that's a fact

Yes the man has made a massive mistake in the past by the rebranding but he is trying to get back on the fans side now and looking to do the best for us fans and now the club! Let's just stop the Tan hating for now and wait and see what happens next!

In May 2014 the club stated Tan had put in over 150 million.

Don't see how it could only be £28 million ffs we owed Langston £24 million ,and Paul guy and mike hall about £9million didn't we

Fans don't hold the club back, the club management do that.

Why is it so hard to put the club first? If you are truly a fan then you want what is best for CCFC. During the rebrand we saw hundreds of posts about fans who would prefer City in League 1 in Blue rather than the Premiership in red. They now have City in blue in a league above (the Championship) yet they have all gone missing or moan and sulk about Tan, stewards the weather anything rather than getting behind the team.

Management do carry the blame for mistakes but they have attempted to put some of them right starting with the reverting to blue from red. Fans can't just stand by and point the finger else where as they have a responsibilities as well. The away support is brilliant but at home we are pathetic. Management don't sit in the stands we do and its time to stop sulking and start supporting the team.

Supporters have no responsibilities, i dont understand the point your making, I grew up watching the mid nineties Cardiff City. I have to be totally honest, the club needs to play premiership football now ad the CCS is too boring a stadium for anything less than that

The point I am making is as supporters we have a responsibility to back the players with our vocal support i.e. the 12th man. If all we do is moan boo and complain it will have a negative effect on the players and holds the club back.

What's the issue ? People where00 saying it and they still don't go I know plenty from the various protest groups who turned up to Leeds game and can't be arsed to go anymore ,just excuse s on excuses some include good friends of mine

because theres too many other factors to attendence. to say they have "all gone missing" ... who are these "they" in the first place.

tell me how many people actively stated they stopped going and would rather see us in blue in league two, how many of these now still dont go to games? Yeah there will be a few of course, but theres no large group of supporters making promises and not returning, its hard to imagine the change of colour making much of a difference to attendances in the first place!


i reckon if you look at this forum as an example, a lot of the people who stated they would rather us be in blue and playing in league two were already going to games anyway, like myself

There were hundreds of debates on all the message boards (and letters to the press) where the claim about playing in Blue in League 1 was the narrative by many supporters. Obviously it is impossible to name them individually (and it’s a bit daft asking me to) but it is generally accepted that those statements were made.

In the Premiership we averaged 26000 now it’s 13500 a drop of nearly 50%. The law of averages states that some of those who claimed they would prefer to watch City in blue in League 1 have ducked out.

I would agree there are other reasons why the attendances have fallen. We are not the only club this has happened to and the biggest contributor was relegation. However, in our first season back in the Championship playing in red we still averaged 20000. We reverted to blue and still lost 7000 supporters.
