According to this sale, it means we can bring a player in for a fee but he has to be on 75% of what Mason is on
No it doesn`t.
The transfer embargo , which cannot now be lifted until at least the end of March and so only be of benefit in the Summer 2016 transfer window , prevents the club from paying any kind of fee for a player , be it a permanent transfer fee or a loan fee.
The 75% you refer to only relates to the wages of a new player coming in where the club is up to its maximum 24 qualifying players and has let a player go to take the number below that number. So , if Joe Mason was on £10k a week , the new player could be paid no more than £7.5k a week (including national insurance and any fee paid by the club to his agent).
At the moment , the club is below its 24 limit anyway.

Think it's 75% of out going players wages or £600k a year maximum ,so joe going out on your above guess of his wages would not interfere with the £600k maximum wage allowed

Wolves FC
Wolves can confirm they are in advanced discussions with Cardiff City after making a significant bid for striker Joe Mason
City have received in writing a £3mill bid for Joe Mason from Wolves and I believe the deal will go through today
Finally good business by Cardiff City, City paid about £250,000 for Joe Mason from Plymouth.

Excuse my ignorance, but if we sell Mason which I hope we do,what Wii happen to the transfer fee as we are under this ridiculous embargo, what would be our options?

We can't spend it on future transfers at this moment in time, although I don't believe for one minute Tan would off.
Tan/Dalman will say that it will go in to balance our books, which it will, but it will go eventually back to Tan who lent us the money we are now currently in debt for.

Or the man who actually stepped in to save the club from the threat of liquidation? I don't seem to remember anyone else being in the wings to help out.
And it wasn't a case of facing administration but liquidation.
And for those who think we could do a Halifax or Wimbledon or Rangers etc and rise up the leagues -why would the English FA let a newly formed Welsh team in. It just wouldn't happen.
Tan has made mistakes, huge, huge f*cking mistakes of that I agree for sure.
But without him there was a very real risk of us not even having a club to support right now or if we did it being in the Welsh leagues against Rhyl etc. (At least Scott Young would be more at home - sorry Scott couldn't resist)
We're back in Blue, stabilised in the Championship, thankfully not in the headlines every week and are trying to cut our cloth accordingly for the first time in years.
Christ is no one else bored at all the negativity and swiping at Tan and Slade and the Club.
Let's f*cking move on and give the guy a break he wiped £13M (you could buy 13 million Boltons for that) off the club debt last year.
I know that doesn't make him the messiah bit he's hardly the f*cking anti-Christ either.
Besides he's in neck deep now as no-one will buy a Championship club for the amount he needs to get his money back (or just not to make a massive loss) so he won't going anywhere for a long, long time.
We might as well just move the f**k on and just get on with supporting the team.

I see a pattern emerging

Best post on here for ages and think it accurately sums up what most of us believe though a certain section would have you believe otherwise
