Ledley is way down the order of their midfielders and frazier campbell is now 5/6th choice striker.

Would be a good move to get them in on loan, 2 fan favourites too.

So Ledley is a fans' favourite is he ? Only for those with very short memories. Personally I cannot stand him. And I'm not one of the many so-called fans looking for an excuse to stop going to the CCs. But Ledley's return would finish it for me.

You would stop supporting Cardiff if we signed Joe Ledley? Is that what you are saying? Each to his own but signing a Premier League and international player is a very good thing isn't it? :bluescarf:

Indeed I would. Like a would have done if Toshack had returned as manager after he had been with Swansea when he rubbished us at every opportunity. These things rankle with me. Far more than, for example the colour of shirts or the design of the badge. But I suppose each to their own.

What did Ledley do wrong?

He wanted to earn more money!!

I think you are in agreement with me there is nothing wrong with that.

Ridsdale dished out super wages to his mates Fowler, JFH and Sinclair and our best player was Ledley on a fraction of their money. We then turned down a bid for Ledley but didn't pay him what he was worth still. We treated him badly not him us. Ridsdale tried to take advantage of the lads loyalty.

Exactly, two sides to every story!

Toshack attacked the board. His move to Swansea was driven by getting back at the board.

Ledley made it clear his issue was with the Riddler and blamed him totally for his move,

There was a rift with The Riddler, but I am told there was a bit more to it than that (not all football related) and my only gripe with Joe is that he pre-planned the contract run-down with his Agent at a time we really could have done with the money his sale would have brought in

I don't 'blame' him, but let's not forget we nearly went to the wall soon after and any amount of money received would have helped the club immensely!

Thanks, Sven. This sums up my take on this. The only difference being that I do blame him. Especially when he is quoted as saying he still loves us or words to that effect. It'll annoy me even more if we take him back in his twilight years. For old times sake.

To maximise his earnings. He would have signed a contract had Cardiff agreed to back date the contract to the start of the season we paid all those wages out for Fowler especially. That is standard practice but Cardiff wouldn't do it.
