Go ahead. The only quote you'll find is 'I am proud to be British'. I am Cardiffian first, Welsh second. Am I proud to be British? Yes I am, to a degree. I love the Scots, love the Irish and love the Cornish. And no, I've never been a fan of England and having been fortunate enough to have been and lived abroad I think Wales should embrace its culture, language and uniqueness to the maximum. I have stuck up for such on several occasions and will continue to do so. If you want to say I flip flop on politics then go ahead as I've gone from not voting to voting Plaid Cymru. If you want to criticise that then also go ahead.

They can label me Welsh if they like and put it in my passport but I won't accept their rebranding of my nationality.

If anything, us speaking English is fake. We should all be speaking Welsh as we are in Wales like... It's people like you with that attitude that's killing the Welsh language. I can't understand Welsh people who are against the Welsh language. So what about the Welsh speaking element that want to sing Welsh songs at a Cardiff game?

Nothing fake about it, it is how we have naturally evolved socially. The same as the Irish dont speak Gaelic and as a resukt very rarely do you hear it on the terraces.

The moving between borders is the main reason which obviously wasnt common practice back when the only mide of transport was a horse.
