A young player named adeymi who needs game time and was not going to get it with us this season we also have put a one million fee on him if they want to sign him permanently

I didn't see him play any 'box to box' football. We have to offload players not everyone's guna be happy. Slade obv rated what we have here as better options so what did u expect?

Don't think anyone has any idea of name of player, RS has hinted he wanted a midfield player, so could assume one will sign by start of season.

I would love it if it was Jonny Williams. Have always rated him and so have Palace, until Warnock took over and basically ruined his confidence. Since then he has been on loan at Ipswich a few times and been brilliant for them. Mick McCarthy wanted to sign him permanently and Williams was happy to join Ipswich in the Championship, if it meant that he would be playing regular first team football. But Palace wanted too much for him and Ipswich were unwilling to pay that amount. Hopefully, Ipswich's loss is our gain and the player that's close to signing for us is Jonny. I think he is definitely good enough to be playing regular Premiership football, but I don't think he will get the chance at Palace. So, I think if he wants to progress in his career then he has to leave Palace and possibly drop down a level to the Championship, so that he can then get back to the Premiership. It would be amazing if we did sign Williams, not only because he is a class player, but because he is Welsh as well. I think if he was the attacking central midfielder, in front of Ralls and Dickgacoi and we had Pilkington and Ameobi either side of Mason. Then I think we would have a fantastic attacking side with lots of energy, great movement, creativity and flair. We would be a pretty formidable team, that would scare the shit out of most Championship defences.

I would like Williams to sign for us too. But I don't think we'll make any more significant signings like this. Ever.

Slade has agreed terms with the player and Is Now awaiting on the other club, there is a pending situation at the other club which will be revealed if the deal fails

Cardiff City have been holding talks with a centre midfield player from a higher standard league.

Russell Slade believes he has nearly got the deal wrapped up and expects to have the player in before the Fulham match.

Fans will be excited by this signing if Slade pulls it off.
