I will never move on,whilst Tan is still here.

Funny you should say that, I was told the same words by the RED BRIGADE when Tan rebranded us :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Im a genuine fan who actually understands what is happening at the club.

Your posts are very negative consistently

Which is expected given the turmoil our club is in on and off the pitch. Are you expecting me to be dancing and lighting fireworks in celebration of what is going on? We have an owner who couldn't give two hoots about the fans - the rebrand was reversed not because he suddenly developed compassion or understanding but because the Sky money was no longer coming in due to relegation and thus keeping up attendances and merchandise purchasing is imperative at a lower level. Secondly, our manager has the tactical understanding of a watermelon and a head shaped like one. Finally, we have daft fans who continue to buy into all the crap the club is feeding them. The only way the club moves forward is if Tan gets lost. Simple as that and I will continue to appear negative until he is gone.

and you constantly bring up the jaxx but then mention how they are doing much better.

So telling the truth is not allowed now? Real Madrid are also better than us. The Jacks are better than us. Heck, Bournemouth are better than us and that is also a fact. Sorry if the truth is negative and hurts but that is just the truth. Deal with it.

If you notice, I am the only one to respond to this post so far which means that many are ignoring you.

Its easier to bury your head in the sand and live in a world of denial than accept the club you love is in turmoil and something needs to be done about it, i.e. a change of ownership. In fact, I'll go as far as to predict that Cardiff will be in a relegation battle next year because honestly I cant see us progressing under Tan's ownership. I can see Slade getting the chop early on, a new manager of an unknown quantity coming in (as no credible manager will want to work for the loon) and we'll either completely collapse like Blackpool or we'll be in a battle for most of the season.

Hey I guess I owe you that apology. Sorry.

I can understand how you feel. I was always against the rebrand (but not against Tan till he did it). The blue issue was and still is an unbelievable situation. Had Tan not done what he did, things could have been so different, although, as you say, he is a loon and the other unseen stuff he must be doing in the background can't help either.

I also accept you point about rival clubs and ignoring them is worse than actually taking an interest, especially if they are doing well. I misinterpreted your intentions there so I guess that's another apology. Lol.

I fear your predictions and hope you are wrong but can see there is a real danger of a further dip in form especially if the money saving cuts continue. I just hope that there is at least stability this year.

I don't agree about the international game on Friday, but there you go. That's the point of a forum to air views. I'll agree to disagree on that one. It'll be over after next week for a while anyway.

Hope this clarifies my view.

Strongly disagree on point 1 - I for one was cringing all the way through promotion and premiership - it just was not CARDIFF CITY . but stuck with it all the same.

Blooobirds Forever !!! :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
You were in the minority I think bud.
I would not call it a minority as the majority wanted the blue.
The facts are that few protested. Most went along with it when we were winning.
Over 2,000 protested out of 20,000 attendances. 7,000 of 70,000 protested against the Glaziers. In proportion I would say that is good compared to few.
Nowhere near 2000 and it was out of 25000 Cardiff fans.
It was actually over 2,000. You should have been there Neil.

25,000 rubbish....if you went to the games you would have seen most of the attendances were around 20,000 if we were lucky.
Which protests are you talking about? The ones when we were in the premiership before it started going wrong it was 300 at the castle swelling to more than that en route for the Man City game. Then Boxing Day it was about 500 fans protesting before the Southampton game which was more in support of Malky. March then when it was pretty clear we were going down the numbers increased to more than a 1000.
Ian, the march before the Liverpool game was well over 5,000 :thumbright: Boxing Day 1,400 plus both confirmed by Cardiff Police :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
That just proves as the results on the pitch deteriorated the numbers who were 'bothered' about the rebrand increased. We are saying the same thing.

Re: ' ONE OF THE WORST DAYS IN CCFC HISTORY '

1) we didn't mind the red when we were winning the Championship or moving into the Premiership. It only became an issue when we started losing.

2) many of our fans stated the only way back was a full reversal of the rebrand which he has done yet we are still not happy and now moan about lack of ambition and other things. Makes us look pathetic or as the French say pathete.
Agree on point 2 - now we should be pulling as one unit - together.

Strongly disagree on point 1 - I for one was cringing all the way through promotion and premiership - it just was not CARDIFF CITY . but stuck with it all the same.

There were various protests and they increased in attendance as the results on the pitch deteriorated. This has been stated more than once. I agree with this and it actually supports my argument that as on the field we started doing worse off the field more became 'bothered' by the rebrand.

It happened 3 years ago and I agree with TLG I actually believe its done the opposite to our club, without a doubt we have not progressed.
Whether we like it or not,its part of our history and we will talk about those times in many years to come.

He may have changed debt to equity. He was (still is) waiting for one last Director of the club to sell him his shares. However as we are no longer in red and that was a condition for the 100 million investment and then debt to equity then I have no problem with him not carrying this out.

I have never heard or seen anyone write red or dead. Doesn't mean it didn't happen. I have seen people write the facts that without Tan's money we would have been liquidated. Of that there is little doubt. We were out of money with little chance of raising the money required to pay HMRC.

The follow up with red is red or no investment which it was felt would secure our future as we would have a good chance of promotion. Don't forget without that investment from changing to red it is likely that Langstone and Sam would still be a noose hanging around our neck.

Annis I'm friends with Gwyn on Facebook and have never seen him say red or dead. He wrote many times around the incident and never used those words. However I'm not disputing that if you say you heard him yourself however we will have to agree to disagree on this.

My main point though is that the majority, not all but a lot of our fans started to protest due to performances on the pitch and weren't that bothered we were in red when we were winning.

Long wait he's reversed the rebrand if you didn't notice.

I had noticed. He lied. Shame that people like you defend Tan.

He may have changed debt to equity. He was (still is) waiting for one last Director of the club to sell him his shares. However as we are no longer in red and that was a condition for the 100 million investment and then debt to equity then I have no problem with him not carrying this out.

More fool you. He lied to us. We had well known fans saying red or dead. I've been an exile since 89 and because of tan I gave up. I have been back since blue shirts returned but it's still not the same.

Correct in every word you say there Gareth.

Neil keeps attacking us fans, yet we might moan, but at least we watch our club no matter what,Neil does not even go,its these type of fans that seem to back Tan

Annis where have I attacked anyone?

I don't go because I am in the RAF and live miles away working shift.

Name a fan who said red or dead. Specifically those words. As I said without Tan's money when he first came, when he was needed, which you know he was as you waved Malaysian flags desperate for him to invest as you knew how screwed we were money wise. That is unrelated to red or dead. There's bullshit on both sides but the anti Tan brigade are never happy. No matter what he does he is castigated.

Neil, Gwyn Davies,Tony Jeffries and several others from the Red Brigade.

There was NO Bulshit from our side,we were just deeply hurt. You werent at the meetings either as I heard every word first hand, including the threats :thumbright:

As to Malaysian flag waving, yes I welcomed TG,way before Tan came on the scene and who was to know what the Dictator was about to do to us.

Neil,Ive known you a long time and so yes I do Respect your opinions :thumbright: ,but your wrong about a lot of things.

Theres nothing to disagree on,incl staff etc at least 15 people in the meetings/heard and saw.

I do agree a lot of fans accepted the Red and did not care and have deserted through poor results on the pitch,BUT I am not one of them and never will be :thumbright: :thumbright:

You having a laugh Neil. Gwyn been arguing the red or dead stand from day one and it is his only comeback when getting involved in the debate.

I've seen him say red or we would be facing uncertain future. The dead was before Tan came in which was why the Malaysian flags were being waved. The uncertain future bit was right without the investment for rebrand. Like I said I saw many of his posts on Facebook where he never used the red or dead phrase. Don't mean he didn't say it though. All immaterial now anyway.

Some people are incredibly sad. Any old school fan hated the red and Tan. I still want tan to go. He ripped the heart and soul out of our great club.

Gareth, I would say 95% of the old School fans detested the Rebrand and want Tan gone.

95% is stretching it. Certainly, I count myself in the other 5% and I have supported the Club for over 50 years. But in your book that doesn't make me a proper fan. You've got a cheek, Annis, believe me.

The rebrand broke hearts but what hurt me more was watching our supporters turn on each other in front of me. Caused by both sides but its 3 years ago called history we have to move on.

Cardiff City are back in Blue and we have to move on and support the team I want success in the blue kit and want to be in the premiership and I do not want it ruined by an owner who was jealous of the manager's popularity he couldn't realise that
he will never be popular because of the rebrand.
