This board loves and idolises Malky. No surprise that UKIP is the party that most members on the board voted for!

He relegated Wigan even with decent players at his disposal, he is a FRAUD. His next job will be in the SPL

That is one of the reasons why I say No. The real scandal of MM's management has never really been revealed but the Cornelius transfer gives us a massive clue.

Another being the ultra defensive tactics even in games where we should have had a chance of gaining something (C Palace away being an example).

We will never know the answer to this question !

In my opinion Tan made a simple choice of removing a manager who at the very least had kept us largely outside of the bottom three or losing face himself if Mackay continued in the role !

Tan chose himself above the potential PL future of CCFC .... for that reason I will never trust him !

we finished on 30 points from 38 games, we would have needed (with our goal difference) 37 to stay up.
I say with malky ---
SUNDERLAND home 2-0 with 7 mins to play, Malky`s team would have held on for the 3 points (Finished 2-2)
HULL home lost 4-0 -shocking defending ------under Malky a dour 0-0 but a point gained
PALACE home lost 3-0 ground out a draw at least a point gained

Everton away ? last minute miscued goal ? Point lost

Gone into the last 2 aways SUNDERLAND - a six pointer and we lost 4-0. a dour draw, a la Norwich away, a la Stoke away would have put us on the brink of safety.
Newcastle away with all the talk of disgruntled Geordies walking out cos of the poor form / losing run- we could have got something.

Malky found Fraser Campbell in the january window, who knows with a little backing , another gem could have been found.

i say YES.

Everton were chasing a Champions League spot at the time, our away form was poor under Malky, do you remember the shambolic performance away at Palace? Sunderland we would have got nothing from.

'With a little backing' lmao he had £50m in the summer, not to mention the Championship squad had high wages, £30m in wages I think it was? He had the backing, he didn't use it

i say YES.

i say YES.

Excellent argument put forward.
Those against Malky just keep repeating...Wigan, Racist, Cornelius blah blah blah.
I often wonder if the anti Malky people sang, danced and ran on the pitch the night we played Charlton to go up ? Of course they did.

Roberto Martinez won the FA Cup for Wigan, does that negate his role in them being relegated?
