Why do people think we are any different to any other club, every team has thousands of glory hunters always have always will ,the only solution to the problem we have is the poor standard of football thats being served up end of story,so get a new manager in that plays nice football win the first few games and the fans come flooding back, and by christmas they will be opening the new stand back up. :bluescarf:

If they had done an offer in the Ninian, I would of renewed all of us.

You have identified yourself as why these cheap season ticket offers don't work, as you say, your daughters and wife won't attend many games so it's not worth you buying season tickets at current price, yet would if cheaper. This would only lead to empty seats, as has been the case with the last two seasons as many season tickets especially in the family stand were sold off so cheaply that those supporters felt that it was no great loss when they didn't attend games when results and the standard of football dropped. Winning football will bring supporters back faster than any price slashing, the club needs to concentrate on getting that right and the fans will return. Ironically the way things are going with low season ticket sales, the club could make more money than they have done over the last five years if they got into a promotion challenge.

My other daughters and my Wife lost interest because it became so dire down there as well, plus children like an atmosphere and there certainly is not one down there. So what I am saying is lets entice them back with cheap tickets, mayb then a better atmosphere.
The stadium will look awful empty next season.

If we are doing well next season, yes the fans will return for the odd big game at those prices, history and the facts prove that with City fans.

Your agreeing with what I'm saying, it's the dire football and atmosphere around the club and in the stadium that keeps your wife, children and no doubt the other stay aways from attending. If anything I would like to see match day prices reduced across the board and especially for children and teens, rather than season tickets. Done on a match day basis, we would at least know that the ticket purchased would be used and the person attending.

Exactly  Just think if we would be playing a brand of football like Bournemouth have this season with the ultimate result being promotion, then the place would be packed to the rafters, with everyone behind the team and manager as it should be, rather than complaining about ticket prices, which are average for this league. Yes, ticket prices could be tweaked, but they are in the large not the problem.

Good post. I personally don't agree with kids tickets being virtually given away either.
Someone said it was good to see the top tier almost full on Saturday & it was but it was full of children. Around me some were playing up, grizzling, running around & there were even a couple throwing lollipops at each other. It was like being in a nursery.
I think West Ham have got it right if I'm correct as theirs is £99 which works out at roughly £5 a match.
I also believe that kids should be in the family section of the ground.
Even more so, I think the quality of the football & the thought of it continuing next season with the threat of our better players being sold is biggest reason for not renewing not the price.

For Christ's sake give them something to watch! This year has been the worst football I have witnessed at ANY level.I will be honest I would not pay to go through this year again. Slade has to go. Anyone who plays route one to a five foot nine guy marked by six and a half footers is in the wrong career I'm afraid.

:( :(

my 10 year old said to me a few weeks ago that he did not want a season ticket for next season. Why son ? we always get beat, don't seem to try....been like this for 2 season now, just getting beat all the time....no fun anymore.

Cheaper prices will not bring him back, he wants a team that tries and wins at home...he is 10 and spot on.

I have 3 months to change his mind knowing the team that will start next season will not be a patch on the team that finishes this season.....and look what has happened this season. What are my chances ?

The season Ticket works out at 15 pound a game for an adult which is brilliant ,people can't moan about that

They need to address how we are as supporters are treated down the CCS as well. We are treated like School children by Wayne Nash and his merry bunch of storm troopers :sladeout:

If the cost is an issue, you can get a season ticket for Adults £15 per game, 16-21 £10.40 per game and Under 16 £6 per game. I'm sorry, but those prices are not a barrier for the vast majority of our supporter base. Its the shite football coupled, with relegation and the way the club has conducted itself that is the sticking point, not prices :sladeout:

My son will be 13 next season, he's had a season ticket since he was 2. He plays up at Cardiff for the U13s, he has said he would just prefur to play himself on a Saturday than watch the boring football served up at the CCS each weekend. How can I argue with that, he's spot on :bluebird:
