Wales would be ruined if ukip ever got in power.

Farage and the majority of members only care about England.

The Welsh budget would be cut, and we'd lose billions in eu funding.

To make it worse labour would still win the assembly elections and carry on making a mess of the economy and our NHS.

Re: Vote " General Election poll "

Totally agree about capitalism. It has failed the majority of people. UKIP are no solution. We need hope not blame. Most immigrants contribute enormously to our society and the banks, tax dodgers and antiquated class system is to blame for our woes, not these people. Many emigrate to other countries from Cymru...Will they be banned from doing so under UKIP? The latter are mostly ex-Tories, so to say they are an alternative is bollocks.

So it will have to be the Tories for me despite me believing Cameron is a right tw*t.

If you're worried that Cameron is right wing, for goodness sake Farage is further to the right!!!
:laughing5:

I said Cameron was a tw*t nothing about him being right wing which he isn't. He is more left in many areas and centre in others. Farage is bang on the button with immigration.

If I can, I will be voting TUSC (Trade Unionist & Socialist Coalition). Genuinely anti cuts & anti austerity. Midlle to low income people and the unemployed did not cause the most recent economic crisis (near total collapse by 2008) and yet it is those people who have had to pay for the mess. For all you supporters of free market capitalism out there, consider this - if it was not for the State bailing out the banks in 2008 (esp. in USA & UK) where would the free market be now? :old:

UKIP is a racist party. UKIP is a less severe BNP. You can say goodbye to Manga if you vote UKIP.

Is this the same State who managed to makes the billions from the free market who then returned the financial help in 2008 ? Works both ways and everyone benefits

So, if someone votes UKIP, Manga will leave. It follows therefore, if no-one votes UKIP, Manga will stay.

Or could it be, that the someone who votes Ukip simply says "Goodbye", to a somewhat confused Manga.

What if you vote Ukip, and don't feel like saying Goodbye to Manga. Or is it permissible to say goodbye to Manga, but only if you vote Ukip.

If you say goodbye to Manga, and didn't vote Ukip - ya names goin on the list.

I think you have just agreed with what I said without realising it. Acording to free marketeers there is very little need for the state - they say that a totally free market will keep on an even keel all by itself and we will all benefit. Taxation is an evil according to them. BUT, and that is a big but, if the state had not regulated the markets to some degree and collected taxes then the state could not have bailed out the banks. That is not a free market. What makes me feel sick is that I pay a bigger propotion of my low income on taxes (Income Tax, NI cons, VAT etc) than the super rich and trans national corporations (a lot of them pay sweet FA). If the super rich and the trans national corporations paid their fair share of tax (in my opinion - the same propotion of their income as me) then there would be no need for so called austerity. The UK is still in the top 5 or 6 richest countries in the world.

Predictions (Approx!):

Labour 280 seats.
Conservatives 240 seats.
LibDem 25 seats.
SNP 15 seats.
UKIP 10-15 seats.
Greens 7 seats.
Plaid 5 seats.

Leaves about 60-65 seats for other parties and leeway. I feel like the major parties will hold less seats this time, but not sure how the seat numbers will jump for the smaller parties as they tend to have strong support but less concentrated. Cities will remain Lab/Con most likely, but we'll see variation in the towns and countrysides.

Will be an interesting election, regardless of outcome.

When I said I d vote ukip I think I I was being awkward , it just seems the main parties r so out of touch ,Wales NHS and education seem to be behind the rest of UK ,and of course I no Ukip can't alter that realistically .Disillusioned would describe it.
One thing that is a worry is the lack of young people prepared to vote ,there was a program on TV about the House of Commons recently , when you see how the M Ps behave its no wonder.Cheers Owain

Easy to say that when you are living in a capitalist country through isn't it. I tell you what, spend a year of your life living in a communist country like I have and then see if that changes your viewpoint

Did i say communism was the answer? Don't think i did.

The problem is that people are so indoctrinated into the system that they can't see past the old capitalism v communism v socialism v fascism, etc argument!

There are other ideas out there but people are blind to them as mainstream politics/media do not even acknowledge they exist or ridicule anyone who promotes them.

You all need to open your eyes if you want real change!

My opinion is that we should be looking at a resource based economy... for the good of the planet (seeing as we only have one planet and Capitalism is completely screwing with it).

It's not a fact though is it. Pretty much 99% of scientists agree that global warming is real.

It is our children and grandchildren who are the ones that are going to suffer unless people like you wake up and smell the propaganda.
