But unless he got a shed load of Cash in a poor leauge he may be able to drag an other team over the line.

What will surprise me even more is if he gets given an other job in the top 3 divisions.

If people are going to judge Malky's time at Wigan and suggest Slade is a better manager based on where both clubs are in the table, then I assume the same people will (should) agree that he deserves all the praise for getting us promoted to the Premier League, no?

He does. But he spent a lot of money on duds or those that weren't able to make the step up. Maynard, Conolly, Noone, Velikonja, Kim. When with the money he spent he should have produced a squad capable of winning the league and push on from there.

But winning the championship is still one of the best moment of the clubs history and he deserves credit. Even if he is an ass hole.

If football was only about money and not any real management skills then the Premier League and Football League would look very different.

Amazingly yes, slide on occasion will try and win games and have as many as four players in attacking positions. Malky you'd be lucky to get two. Given similar budget and remit as Slade, Malky gets a club relegated, Slade gets mid table.

Still good to see that's the only point of contention in what I said. Malky loved the red, white manager.
